Aaron Carter passed away back in November 2022. He was found unresponsive in the bathtub at his home in Lancaster, California. He was 34 years old at the time of his passing, which was caused by accidental drowning due to the effects of difluoroethane and alprazolam. He is survived by his son, Prince, his mom, Jane, and his siblings, Nick and Angel.
In 2022, when Aaron passed away, Hilary took to her social media handle and shared an emotional note. She also revealed that her late ex-beau even once showed up in her psychic reading. Hilary is still friends with Aaron's twin, Angel, and their kids study in the same school. In one of her interviews, Hilary talked about her friendship with Angel and revealed that they often speak about Aaron.
It was four months back when Hilary Duff revealed that she got a message from Aaron during one of her psychic readings. Yes! Speaking on the Las Culturistas podcast, Hilary Duff revealed that she consulted with someone who didn't know her name during their session.
The psychic told Hilary that many people were trying to speak to her, including someone named Aaron. Being shocked, Hilary asked if it was Aaron Carter, and the psychic replied with a 'yes'. This also led the psychic to discover that she was speaking to Hilary Duff. While the singer-actress didn't reveal what message she got from Aaron, in her revelation, she shared:
"She's, like, 'Well, people are going to start showing up to speak with you, and there's someone here: Aaron with two A's.' I was like, 'Well, that's my childhood boyfriend. And, you know, that would make sense to me.' And, she's like, 'Are you Hilary Duff?'"
Hilary and Aaron dated for three years from 2000 to 2003. The couple then parted ways, and the reason was a love triangle. Aaron and Hilary were dating each other when they were both 13. They met on the set of Lizzie McGuire and eventually started dating; however, it ended with the actress's feud with Lindsay Lohan.
Speaking about the same, Aaron revealed on The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch in 2005 that he got bored and cheated on Hilary with Lindsay. He further apologised to Hilary for breaking her heart.
