"Words can’t even explain how I feel. I lost my bestfriend. I lost my bestfriend right in front of me. Brittany Clark is one of the strongest, care-free, feral, hardworking, most loving, selfless person I knew. Exactly 10 years and a week difference in age between us but yet, she was the same exact person as me, anything I had been through or needed help she always had a honest answer."

The friend further revealed that Brittany took her hiking to show her favourite spot, and it was supposed to be an adventure, and it was planned last minute. She revealed they were enjoying the moment swimming when they noticed air bubbles they were making with their bodies, and they joked about how it could be an alligator waiting for them. She wrote:

"We were just talking about anything and everything, just crawling back and forth. There were air bubbles within our little triangle we made with our bodies in the water and I commented on how it might be a sneaky gator and Chance , Brittany’s boyfriend swam right over it to show nothing was there and nothing was there."

The friend revealed how within a few minutes Brittany was attacked by a 13-foot alligator. It bit her arms, and it was horrific. She revealed that her boyfriend fought with his whole might in order to pull her away from the alligator. The friend revealed that Brittany was aware, and she was yelling at her boyfriend about what to do. The friend wrote:

"And just a few minutes later my bestfriend got attacked. Mid conversation. Mid dogs running up and out and around the water. Mid looking at her in the sunlight. A fucking 13 foot alligator attacked her by the arms. I can not go into detail but I won’t EVER forget every detail of this scene. From chance pulling her away and having to help her body up on that river bank."

The friend revealed that they called for help, and it was 12 minutes, but it felt like 12 hours for the 911 to arrive. While they were able to make it to the hospital, Brittany died due to the blood loss at the hospital.
