Heeseung is one of the most famous vocalists of the world-famous boy band group, Enhypen. He has built a reputation for himself with his strong voice, calm personality, and dedication to music. Well, Heeseung has always kept his love life entirely private. However, did you know his heart was broken when he was in school? Heeseung gained millions of followers back in 2020 after being featured in the K-pop survival reality series I-LAND.
His elementary school love story was interesting, and Heeseung once opened up in front of his teammates- Sunoo, Ni-ki and Jay. Heeseung revealed that the girl from his school did not like him back and did not want to be in contact with him. Heeseung continued to like her despite her not liking him back. This incident took place when he was in the fourth standard. When Heeseung reached class 7, his friends asked the girl how she felt, since Heeseung liked her. She had replied to them, saying that he was not so bad and that she did not like him.
Heeseung further in the interview with Fanplus.co.kr revealed that he did end up going out with his school crush. Heeseung waited for three years to grab the opportunity, but his love story had the shortest ending. This is because Heeseung and the girl reportedly were together for only three months. Heeseung, remembering the bitter-sweet memories with the girl he loved in school, shared:
"I had had a crush on a girl in my class since I was in the fourth grade of elementary school. In my first year of junior high school, I confessed my feelings to her and we started dating."
Heeseung, like many other K-pop idols, has always been the subject of different online dating rumours. However, the majority of the claims have been speculative and related to various social media interactions or moments captured on camera. The rumours have not been verified by Heeseung or his management company. There were rumours for a long time that Heeseung and ASEPA's Karina were in a romantic relationship. Fans did notice that both the K-pop idols had a lot of interactions during varied promotional events and had also created content together that involved their groups.
The rumours surrounding Heeseung and Karina actually surfaced on social media when a TikTok challenge clip featuring Heeseung and Karina dancing together went viral. The interaction between both of them was loved by the fans, and they started speculating that Heeseung and Karina were actually dating.
However, it was all fan-based speculations and Heeseung and Karina were just paired together. However, it was never officially confirmed by the K-pop stars. It is interesting to also note that Heeseung was also linked to Wonyoung, whom he had met on a music show. However, it was a sheer misunderstanding, and they never dated. Karina on the other side had reportedly had announced of dating someone else. Heeseung has been best known for his debut track, Given Taken with which he created a global fanbase.
