Hayden Panettiere's death has left everyone heartbroken. Amid that, several celebrities have come forward with their memories of the late actress. However, Ruby Rose's recent comment about Hayden's death left everyone stunned. Taking to her social media accounts, Ruby shared a screenshot of her alleged conversation with Hayden days before she passed away.

Ruby Rose has come forward with a shocking revelation about Hayden Panettiere. The actress, who passed away on August 16, 2026, had allegedly texted the Batwoman star and vented about her mother Lesley Vogel's "cruelty". According to the viral screenshot shared by Ruby on her Threads account, Hayden had outlined her mother's alleged behavior to the former. 

The screenshot is between a person saved as "Hayden" and Ruby Rose. The latter had allegedly texted Hayden Panettiere, saying she would love to do a "podcast/anothony Bourdain show where we talk about issues and then go to the ends of the earth to find solutions," after Rose told the individual that their personal story resonated. In another text, Ruby had shared that the individual did not act or "behave like mothers," regarding their respective parents.

On the other hand, the person replied with a somber recollection of their mother's past. The alleged text from Hayden Panettiere talked about how she still got emotional when she recalled how her mother treated her. The text read:

"I was sobbing over her cruelty yesterday, thinking, my god, I'm 36, and she can still cause this kind of pain. I'm her only child left, and this is how she wants to handle the situation?!"

The actress also shared a story on her Instagram handle alleging that she has much more to share. Ruby Rose called Hayden Panettiere a brave soul and said that she kept reaching out to the late actress for advice on how to move forward. She further alleged that she needs to get it right for Hayden's daughter and penned:

"I have so much I want to say about our dear Hayden. If the roles were reversed, she would have sorted this already. Our brave, courageous H faced everything head-on. She was fearless. But it is LOUD and wrong, and scary out there right now. So naturally, I keep calling Hayden for advice on how to handle this. Which means I need more time to get this right for Kaya, but I also need folk to have patience."

Ruby Rose concluded her Instagram story by asking her followers to "wait for all of the information. And don't take it from her estranged mother. Or any of her abusers." Ruby's messages saw her defending Hayden Panettiere amid the late actress's mother Lesley Vogel's widely criticized comments about her daughter's death.

For the unversed, in an interview with NBC News, Lesley  reacted to her daughter's death while also criticizing the actress' on-and-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, saying her daughter had gone down the "wrong path." She said:

"This person in her life that we have been trying to get rid of for quite some time was with her at her death, and that was Brian Hickerson. I think it becomes very difficult to be true to yourself, and I think Hayden sadly lost her way, and I wish it were different."
