Amid one of his resurfaced scandals, was a woman named Maegan claiming that her husband's ex-wife was caught cheating with Gavin Rossdale. And guess who uncovered the infidelity? The singer's then-wife, Gwen Stefani.
Gavin Rossdale's extramarital affair with his family's longtime nanny, Mindy Mann is an infamous part of his life. However, besides Mindy, he was entangled in infidelity buzz with a few other women, including one who was already married to someone else. A woman named Maegan alleged that he husband's former wife was involved in an affair with Gavin. Maegan shared the details in a TikTok video with the intention of exposing the singer; however, it's not known whether that led to the end of the unnamed woman's marriage. Maegan did not reveal the name of the woman for privacy concerns, but shared Gwen's reaction upon finding out about the affair.
According to Maegan, Stefani got to know about Gavin's cheating through his suspicious actions. After finding out about his affair partner, she allegedly called up the woman's then-husband (who was Meagan's husband after their split). According to Maegan, Gwen informed the man about his then-wife and Gavin's improper relationship in a very angry tone. Gwen was allegedly infuriated by her then-husband's actions and vented her anger during the phone call. As per Maegan, Gwen told the man to keep his "whore" away from her family. She quoted Gwen as saying:
"Keep your whore wife away from my children."
According to Maegan, the kind of language Gwen Stefani used during the phone conversation ruined the calm, faith-driven public persona she had built for herself. Many commented on the post, sharing how shocked they were to know that side of Gwen. The reason was Gwen's portrayal of being very religious, even promoting a prayer app called Hallow. One person commented, "My mom went to HS with her [Gwen]… she's a classic Orange County Christian."
Gavin Rossdale's sexual relationship with nanny, Mindy Mann and the link up with Meagan's husband's ex-wife had got him the label of a serial cheater. Speaking of the confirmed affair with the nanny, it lasted for three years. It was there when Stefani was pregnant with their child, Apollo. According to old Reddit users, Gwen always got the sense that Gavin cheated pretty regularly. During her appearance on a podcast, she briefly mentioned that there was cheating before she wrote Return of Saturn. The post by the Redditor read:
"Then the rumors floating around about him sleeping with women while on tour etc (which according to gossip, Gwen was aware of). There are also the rumors of Gavin being with men, but the Marilyn relationship was already public by the time Gavin and Gwen got married. So I feel like she had to have known about his uh, proclivities before they were married."
