'YJHD' actress, Evelyn Sharma, decided to part ways with her husband, Tushaan Bhindi, after five years of their marital bliss.
Evelyn Sharma is a well-known Bollywood actress, who is best known for her role as 'Lara' in the movie, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. She made her debut back in 2012 with the movie, From Sydney with Love, and later bagged a role in a Ranbir Kapoor-starrer.
The gorgeous actress was married to a dental surgeon, Tushaan Bhindi, for five years and became a mom to two kids. However, after five years of marital bliss, Evelyn Sharma has decided to part ways with her husband, as she shared. In a recent interview, she talked about the same and confirmed that she and her husband have made the decision to separate.
Evelyn Sharma has stayed away from public life for a long time, and it seems that she has been focusing on her personal life. Well, speaking to HT, Evelyn Sharma mentioned that the report is true and she is indeed separating from her husband, Tushaan Bhindi. She further added that her and Tushaan Bhindi's current priority is raising their children together. She further asked for privacy during this tough phase of life to let it be as amicable as it is. She also shared that she and her estranged husband are now building a new chapter in a lifelong friendship and co-parenting. She could be quoted as saying:
"Yes, we have decided to go separate ways romantically but are very focused on raising our children together. We would appreciate privacy and assure that this is as amicable as it can be. We are building this new chapter on a lifelong friendship and co-parenting."
It was in 2019, when Tushaan Bhindi popped the question of marriage to Evelyn Sharma under the Harbour Bridge in Sydney. The proposal came after one year of dating in 2018. For the unversed, Tushaan and Evelyn met each other through their friends. Well, after their glamorous proposal, Tushaan Bhindi and Evelyn got married to each other in 2021. The couple would get married to each other soon; however, Covid-19 ruined their plans. After a whole lot of planning, it was on May 15, 2021, when Tushaan and Evelyn got married in a low-key ceremony in Brisbane.
In an interview with The Times of India, Evelyn talked about her country wedding and said that the wedding was a legal ceremony and they were surrounded by friends and family members. The couple married as per Hindu and Christian rituals. For the ceremony, Evelyn opted for a stunning white gown, while Tushaan looked dapper in a black suit. She dropped adorable photos from the ceremony, tagging them as “Forever” followed by a heart emoji.
It was in November 2021, that the gorgeous actress welcomed her daughter, Ava, into her life. Two years later, it was on January 17, 2023, when Evelyn Sharma took to her social media and announced the 'good news' again. The actress dropped a few pictures featuring her baby bump. In the photos, the actress could be seen radiating her pregnancy glow as she slipped into a black sports bra and joggers. With the photos, Evelyn announced that she was going to be a mom for the second time soon. It was in August 2023 that she welcomed her baby boy, Arden.
