Dipika Kakar's Grand Welcome By In-Laws As 'Nayi Bahu' In Shoaib Ibrahim's House [Videos Inside]

Sasural Simar Ka couple, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are now husband and wife. After a beautiful nikaah on February 22, 2018, they were pronounced husband and wife. A day later, i.e. on February 23, 2018, Dipika, the new bahu was welcomed in the grandest manner in Shoaib’s house.

For their entry, the path had been decorated with rose petals and the ambience was all filled with bliss. The sound of dhol and cheers from friends and relatives reverberated as the couple made the entry. Dipika chose to wear a white sharara and Shoaib donned himself in a white and red bandhgala. After their grand entrance, they had the ceremony of finding the ring. Yes, the same in which a ring is immersed in milk and rose petals. It is said that whoever wins, gets an upper hand in marriage. So, it seems that Dipika is going to reign Shoaib for a lifetime! Their wedding took place in Maudaha, a village in Uttar Pradesh which is also Shoaib’s hometown. All the pre-wedding functions sangeet and mehendi took place there.

The couple said Qubool Hai as per the traditional Muslim nikaah ceremony. Dipika looked ravishing in a pink sharara and complemented it with kundan jewellery and paasa. Accompanying her was the dapper groom, who looked extremely handsome in a light pink sherwani. Later, after her wedding, expressing her gratitude to the Aliya Fashion House, which designed her wedding ensembles, Dipika wrote, “We wore exactly how we felt like "bright, beautiful & laced with love", Thank you @aliyafashionhouse for adding to the dream!!! #dodilmilrahehain.”

Dipika took to her Instagram handle and shared her wedding news. She captioned her post, “I can see the reflection of Mrs Dipika Shoaib Ibrahim in his eyes. And it’s all I ever dreamt off!!! P.S. @shoaib2087 I love you!!! #dodilmilrahehain.”

Because they had a Muslim nikaah and not a Hindu shaadi, there were rumours that Dipika might convert to Islam. According to a leading portal, it was quoted, “She has not converted her religion. Her name is Dipika Kakar only. She will change it to Dipika Ibrahim. I spoke to them personally. They have used Faiza only for the invitation cards.” But then, we brought to you the story which suggests that she has probably converted to Islam and in fact, changed her name to Faiza.
