Jeremy Clarkson, the renowned TV presenter and journalist widely known for the show, Clarkson’s Farm, is going through a tough time. For the unversed, in Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 episode 7, Jeremy revealed that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He announced his cancer diagnosis in front of farmer, Kaleb Cooper and manager, Charlie Ireland, leaving them shocked. Jeremy Clarkson and Lisa Hogan have been dating since 2017. Before finding love in Lisa, Jeremy married twice. Firstly, he got married to entrepreneur Alexandra James in 1989, and the next year, in 1990, they parted ways. Then the TV presenter went on to tie the knot with businesswoman, Frances Cain in 1993. Later, in 2014, Jeremy and Frances parted ways. During their marriage, the former couple welcomed daughters, Emily, and Katya, and son, Finlo. Currently, Jeremy and Lisa are not married.
The pair is not engaged as well. However, in Clarkson’s Farm Season 5, Jeremy hinted that he may be contemplating a third marriage. While discussing about the overseas farmers undercutting UK prices with Charlie, Jeremy jokingly said: "If only I knew someone I could marry who was Irish." It is worth noting that Jeremy’s longtime partner, Lisa, was born in Dublin, Ireland, making her Irish. Lisa herself confirmed whether she was engaged to Jeremy. In April 2026, Lisa shared a heartfelt post on Jeremy’s birthday. One of the followers commented, "Has he proposed yet?" She simply responded, "Nope."
TV presenter, Jeremy Clarkson, revealed that he has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. He shared that he had known about his cancer since May 2026. Although, Jeremy has not clarified what stage of cancer he had been diagnosed with. Explaining it in detail, Jeremy said:
"I disappeared off the other week, and I had a biopsy, and it is cancer, and it's aggressive, but it's really early. I promise I'll be fine. The prostate, 10% of it is dead, the 10% where the cancer is. I had the op, and just fingers crossed it's worked, we don't know yet. We started season five with me in a hospital bed, and here we are at the end, I'm back in the hospital bed. Some of the treatment's gone a bit awry, so I'm going to be here for a little while. I'm nil by mouth, I don't know what's going to happen."
Lisa Hogan and Jeremy Clarkson have been together for nearly 10 years now. They share a significant 14-year age gap and were first introduced by a mutual friend at a party in 2017. They connected due to the shared passion for farming. Once in an interview, Lisa shared that back then, she wasn’t ready to date, and thus Jeremy had to court her for three months. Before finding love in Jeremy, Lisa was married to Baron Steven Bentick for 30 years. Sharing a glimpse into her and Jeremy’s romance on RTE Radio 1 in 2024, Lisa said:
"We met through mutual friends who had tried to set us up a couple of times. I was just about to leave, and we were introduced, and he said, ‘No, no, come on, sit down and have a chat’. And that was it, really. So he called me a couple of days later, and I thought, ‘Ok, you’ve got a bit of a rep’ – so he had to really court me! He courted me for a solid three months! He’s very, very good company. And he does make an effort to make me laugh a lot, which I really appreciate. And we do – we get on."
