The images show Dianna and New England Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabel, indulging in PDA at a luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona. The shots, taken on March 28, 2026, sparked buzz about the duo's affair. Recently, the issue gained fresh momentum after some more of their alleged past date photos were released by TMZ. Rumours were rife that the images had been leaked by a PI hired by Dianna's husband, a claim that has recently been clarified.
Just days after Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel sparked immense buzz with their hand-holding and hugging pictures, social media users came up with a theory that one of their spouses was behind the leak of their private photos. Initial reports claimed that a fan had a chance encounter with Dianna and Mike at the Arizona hotel, took their snaps, and shared them with TMZ; however, the angles and clarity of the zoomed images led netizens to think they were taken by a professional, specifically a PI (private investigator). Recently, a prominent sports radio personality, Jared Stillman shared that a source close to Dianna told him that her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt hired the PI and leaked the photos.
On April 24, 2026, TMZ Sports finally revealed who was responsible for leaking images of Dianna and Mike's private Sedona moments. The publication refuted the viral theory regarding Dianna Russini's husband having hired a PI for the job. According to them, a local couple who were vacationing at Ambiente on the same day and time as Dianna and Mike recognised them and took their shots. Regarding why they clicked the photos, the media outlet said the husband was a big sports fan and could identify Mike Vrabel from a distance. After taking the images, they handed them over to Page Six; however, the reason is unknown.
According to Jared Stillman, revenge motivated Dianna Russini's husband, Kevin Goldschmidt to hire a PI to spy on her and Mike Vrabel. Jared mentioned that Kevin is affluent and wouldn't seek financial gain from the situation. As per Jared, the most probable motive was to defame Dianna and pave the way for a spear campaign against her. He shared that if Dianna's husband actually plotted the entire PI thing with vindictive thoughts, then he had succeeded in it, as the alleged affair with Mark Vrabel "probably ruined her career." The Game 102.5-FM host felt Kevin had "done a really good job" in executing the plan. His exact words were:
"...vindictive. And if that's what the husband's doing...bravo because he has absolutely tanked Dianna's career. If the husband did hire the PI and if this is not about money then that means that the PI and the leaking of the pictures was all to smear Dianna's name. And in this case, you've done a really good job of it. And it has probably ruined her career."
Regarding why Dianna Russini's husband would turn vengeful towards her, Jared shared in an earlier video that the former NFL reporter's alleged public statements regarding Kevin might have hurt his sentiments. Jared thinks those remarks show how "little respect" Dianna has for Kevin. The second reason he presented was that if the couple were to get divorced, the Mike Vrabel affair angle would give Kevin an upper hand. Notably, their divorce buzz has been going on for quite some time due to her occasional jokes about their lack of intimacy, differences of opinion, and other issues.
