David Harbour finally breaks silence on her 'Stranger Things' co-star, Millie Bobby Brown filing bullying and harassment complaint against him in 2025.
David Harbour is one of the most celebrated Hollywood actors, who is best-known for his stellar appearance in the blockbuster show, Stranger Things. However, do you know that his time on the show wasn’t very easy? Well, that’s true. In 2025, reports claimed that his co-star, Millie Bobby Brown had filed a complaint of harassment and bullying against David. Recently, in an interview, David Harbour addressed the claims for the very first time and revealed that it created a tension between him and Millie.
Recently, during an interview with Variety, David Harbour addressed the harassment and bullying complaints, which arose in late 2025. For the unversed, it was David’s Stranger Things co-star, Millie Bobby Brown, who filed the complaint. During the recent chat, David revealed that initially, he and Millie had major tensions between them; however, they behaved as two professionals and portrayed the father-daughter duo on screen.
He also described the situation as a normal argument or disagreement, which could be solved. David explained that after a while, he and Millie ignored all third influences and directly spoke to each other, during which they ultimately sorted out their problems. David also stated that he adores Millie Bobby Brown and will always love her the most. David Harbour was quoted as saying:
"It’s a show that went on for 10 years. We worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. Everyone nowadays is very scared of talking about things. People are very scared of being human. It’s unfortunate, because I don’t know how to navigate this weird media world. But it was completely normal, and we adore each other and always have."
Further in the interview, David Harbour also gave a glimpse into his upcoming projects. He revealed that he has multiple projects lined up with Millie Bobby Brown and mentioned that their fans are in for a huge treat. He said, "Straight up, Millie and I are working on several … You’ll see more of me and Millie - 10 years wasn’t enough. There is a special bond there. I love her. She loves me." It is worth mentioning that David did not mention the names of the projects.
After filing the complaints against David Harbour, actress, Millie Bobby Brown once spoke about her changed relationship with the actor and shared that David stood by her through all her tough times. She also explained that she is very grateful for the strong bond she shares with David. In her words:
"Over time, our relationship became much more collaborative creatively. When you work with someone for that many years, we could really push each other emotionally in scenes. Getting to share that experience with him for so many years is something I’ll always remember and value."
For those who do not know, the controversy between David and Millie began in 2025, when reports claimed that latter had filed a complaint against her co-star, David. As per the complaint, Millie had accused David of bullying and harassing behavior on set. At that time, a few sources claimed that Millie feels uncomfortable around him. Soon, an official investigation began; however, it eventually ended. It is worth mentioning that no details about the complaint were made public. Since then, it is the first time that David opened up about the incident.
