However, in only a few days, things seem to have heated up between the contestants. After Arishfa Khan's verbal spat with Amrapali Dubey, Aasif Khan and Aman Gandhi have locked horns.
Things are heating up inside the Bigg Boss house. Viewers expected things to get tense, but it has only been a few days, and contestants are already baring their teeth at each other. Recently, the makers of the Salman Khan-hosted show dropped a new promo featuring a heated argument between Aasif Khan and Aman Gandhi. What started off as a normal conversation between them turned into a war of words.
At one point, Aman Gandhi even raised his voice and took a dig at Aasif. In the promo making rounds on the internet, Aasif Khan can be seen having a normal conversation with Aman when things took a turn. In the clip, the Panchayat actor is seen advising Aman to be careful what he says, as things can be edited to look like something else. To which Aman told Aasif, "Baat vo bhi nahi hai yaar", and even suggested that Aasif should avoid saying certain things about girls.
Aman further added that he wouldn't hear such things if they were said in front of him on BB 20. However, Aasif took offence at what Aman had said and told him, "Zabardasti extra gentleman kyun daal rahe ho?" When the actor asked Aasif what he meant, he clarified that he meant no one should misbehave. Their argument turned ugly after Aman called Aasif 'tu' while addressing him.
The tone and phrasing didn't sit well with Aasif, and he told Aman that he had been respectful towards him and said, "Aap karke baat kar raha hu na aapse mein". However, the TV actor asked Aasif if it was necessary that his 'lehza' had to be the same as his. Aasif said it was important. "Virar fast mein mat chado," hitting back at the actor, Aman stated, "Virar fast mein main chadta bhi nahi. Main aata nahi local-vocal mein." When Aasif said, 'hum local wale hi hai', Aman took a dig at him and said, "Aapka bhi local wala hi dikh raha hai."
Aman Gandhi's appearance on Bigg Boss surprised many. In an interview with SCREEN, Aman reflected on his decision to do the show after doing Bhagya Lakshmi, and said he wanted to do another leading show. That's when the actor got Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. He called Bigg Boss the biggest show in India after IPL, and shared that he was lucky to have had a chance to be on it. He was quoted as saying:
"I got to see what it felt like being a part of India’s number one show. It was very special, and after this in my career, I needed a huge leap. I was hungry, dreamy, and wanted something big."
Meanwhile, Aasif Khan also talked about why he agreed to do the Salman Khan-hosted show. He revealed that he wanted to explore further and show the audience that his identity was not limited to the angry Damaadji he played in Panchayat. He further reflected on his decision to join the show and said:
"My identity is not limited to that of the angry damaad from Panchayat. I have also done several films and even popular shows like Mirzapur and Paatal Lok. But now it's time people know me as Aasif, and relate to me as a person. I firmly believe that winning this show is not just about having a fan base; it's about your capabilities. To win the show, you have to prove you are capable, and I am ready for it. I have the love of my fans, and with my hard work, I hope to win the season."
