Esha Deol's husband, Bharat Takhtani reveals how does their newborn daughter, Miraya Takhtani looks like her mom and their firstborn, Radhya Takhtani looks like him.
As soon as a child is born, the families start guessing who does the little one looks like. ‘Oh, look at his/her smile, it looks just like his/her mother/father’ or the resemblance of their hair, nose, eyes or any other feature with one of their parents, is a common topic of discussion with the newborn baby in their arms. Though their features will change over time and it’s too early to tell how the baby looks like, it’s a fun activity for every newbie parent. Something similar is the case with Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani, who embraced parenthood for the second time on June 10, 2019. Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani became each other’s forever on June 29, 2012, and with the addition of little angels in their ‘happily ever after’ journey, they are making the best of it. Esha and Bharat welcomed their first daughter, Radhya Takhtani on October 20, 2017, and their second angel was born on June 10, 2019, whom they named, Miraya Takhtani.
In the first interview post-Miraya Takhtani’s birth, Esha Deol's husband and proud father, Bharat Takhtani talked about the resemblance of their two angels. In an interview with the Mid-Day, Bharat said, "I am a happy and proud father. Miraya looks like Esha, and Radhya looks like me. So, I am glad that we have babies who resemble us."
Esha Deol too, shared the excitement on welcoming their little angel, Miraya Takhtani, “Bharat and I are extremely happy and blessed. It's wonderful to have another girl in the family. Bharat is one lucky [guy] who will be surrounded by three beautiful women, all his life. Miraya and Radhya will complement each other.”
Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani had taken to their respective Instagram handles to announce the arrival of their baby girl and reveal her name. Esha and Bharat shared a pink poster stating, “Welcome to our tribe. Baby Girl Miraya Takhtani Born on 10th June 2019. Big sister Radhya, Proud Parents Esha & Bharat Takhtani. Gratitude to the divine.” While had Esha captioned her post as, “Thank you very much for the love & blessings @bharattakhtani3 #radhyatakhtani #mirayatakhtani”, Bharat had written, “Thank you very much for the good wishes & blessings @imeshadeol #radhyatakhtani #mirayatakhtani”. Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Esha Deol had revealed how motherhood changed her as a person after delivering Radhya, “It has definitely matured me up in a big way. Having your own child makes you grow up overnight. This is the first time I am experiencing unconditional love in the purest form. I thank God every day for giving this beautiful little child who calls me maa and when she says my name, my heart just melts.”
Sharing what inspirations does she take from her mother, Hema Malini, Esha Deol had remarked, “In every step in my daily routine. She is the most amazing woman to have at home, whom I can call my mother. I am blessed to have a mother like her whom the entire nation looks up to. The fact she can get inspired by a topic like Ganga and create an entire dance ballet, giving a beautiful message to our nation, get it on stage to perform with all these dancers, it’s amazing. I wish my maa all the best pray she may continue to be an inspiration to all of us.”
Post-Radhya Takhtani’s birth, commenting on embracing motherhood, Esha Deol had shared in an interview, “Mamma loved doing things for Ahana and me, and today I understand that sense of joy when I dote and fuss over my little one. It is something that makes you feel complete as a mother. Beautiful Radhya fills up my days and nights. Both Bharat and I are extremely fortunate to be blessed with her in our lives. Radhya is bubbly and always smiling.
