Beyonce To Perform At Isha Ambani And Anand Piramal's Sangeet, You Won't Believe What They're Paying

With Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the official wedding season for the B-town celebs gets started. Post-DeepVeer’s wedding, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas and Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal are speculated to get married. Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha and Swati Piramal and Ajay Piramal's son, Anand’s lavish engagement ceremony was just a teaser of what's coming up next. Their three-day festivities in Italy included performances by American-musician, John Legend and Academy Award-winning musician, AR Rahman along with the who's who of Bollywood in attendance.

Now, on December 8 and 9, the two-day ceremony will be hosted by Ambanis and Piramals, in Udaipur. Post which, the lovebirds will tie the nuptial knot on December 10, 2018, and the speculated wedding venue is Mumbai. And for one of the pre-wedding festivities, the grapevine is abuzz with speculations that Queen Bey, Beyonce will perform at the sangeet ceremony of the soon-to-be-married couple. According to Filmfare, a source was quoted as saying, "Both Anand and Isha are super excited to have the celebrated singer perform at their wedding."

But that’s not it! Do you know at what cost Ambanis have booked the international singer? Well, reportedly to book the international pop star, Beyonce, it would cost Ambanis approximately around Rs 15 crore, as by books she charges $2 million to do private shows.

Filmfare quoted another source as saying, “Isha is a big fan of American singer Beyoncé which is why Mukesh Ambani decided to have the pop star perform at the Sangeet ceremony. Both Anand and Isha are super excited to have the celebrated singer perform at their wedding. Some of Bollywood stars will also be doing a special performance at Isha’s cocktail in Udaipur.”

September 21, 2018, to September 23, 2018, witnessed the engagement ceremonies of Isha and Anand, and their respective families left no stone unturned to make it worth remembering for a lifetime. And for the engagement, Isha wore a rare collection of Dolce and Gabbana. For those who don’t know, Isha Ambani’s fiancé, Anand Piramal is the son of an Indian industrialist, philanthropist and social entrepreneur, Ajay Piramal. Anand is a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania and also holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School. Anand is currently the Executive Director of Piramal Group and is also the founder of a start-up named, Piramal eSwasthya, which is basically focused to democratise healthcare.

Anand shares a cordial relationship with his father-in-law, Mukesh Ambani and has revealed in a throwback interview that he often takes professional advice from him. Acknowledging the encouragement that Mukesh has given him, Piramal once shared, "I asked him whether I should get into consulting or banking."

He further stated, "He told me, ‘Being a consultant is like watching cricket or commentating about cricket while being an entrepreneur is like playing cricket. You can’t learn how to play cricket by commentating. If you want to do something, be an entrepreneur in the long term, and start now."

Anand proposed Isha in Mahabaleshwar, in a full filmy style by getting down on his knees and slipping in an engagement ring on her finger. And she immediately said ‘yes’ to him! The proposal was followed and celebrated by a family lunch.
