The latest controversy in the reality show emerged after a heated captaincy task between Arishfa Khan and Tanmay Singh, aka ScoutOP, sparked a wave of reactions online. ScoutOP faced severe backlash over some of his remarks made during the argument, including comments about Arishfa's profession and phrases such as "yahi patak ke fek dunga side mein" and "khatam kar do."
Khan's team has now broken its silence, asking viewers to look at the complete context of the incident rather than edited clips.
The clash between the two contestants quickly escalated during the task, with ScoutOP also taking a dig at Arishfa's work by saying, "Reelo ke gaane bajadu trending vaale, nachoge ta-ta-thaiya nachaniya." He later appeared to address his gaming and YouTube community while looking towards the camera. He was heard saying:
"Main khule aam gaming community ko bolta hoon, achhe YouTube community ko bolta hoon… khatam kar do."
The remarks triggered criticism on social media, with viewers questioning whether the argument had crossed the line from competitive gameplay into personal attacks.
Later, however, ScoutOP defended his side. Speaking to Qazi Touqeer, he offered his version of what actually escalated the situation. He claimed that Arishfa had hit him twice during the task and said he had already warned her not to touch him. Recalling the exchange, ScoutOP said, "Mereko touch mat karna, nahi to main patak ke marunga."
Qazi told him that speaking to someone in that manner was not appropriate. ScoutOP, however, maintained that he doesn't differentiate between men and women during a task, saying, "Task mein ladka ladki nahi hai mere liye." Fellow housemate Isha Rikhi also intervened and objected to the physical aspect of the argument, saying, "Ye thappad wali baat galat hai."
The incident has since divided viewers. While several social media users criticised ScoutOP's language, others argued that Arishfa also crossed a line during the task.
Amid the ongoing debate, Arishfa Khan's team shared a lengthy statement on her Instagram account on September 16, 2026, addressing the controversy and pushing back against what it described as a one-sided reading of the incident. The team began with a clear message: "Respect has no gender — but a girl's dignity should never be compromised."
The team then pointed to remarks attributed to ScoutOP, including "yahin patak ke phenk dunga," "thappad maarunga," and "ladki touch karegi toh phaad dunga," and questioned whether such language should be considered acceptable during an argument, and that too, when a woman is on the receiving end. Arishfa's team said:
"Agar physical push ya hit ka allegation saamne aata hai, toh usse bhi lightly nahi liya ja sakta. Aur agar uske baad us incident ko deny karne ke liye maa ki kasam khayi jaaye, toh audience ko poora sequence aur available footage dekhna chahiye — kyunki sach sirf ek statement se nahi, poore context se samjha jaata hai."
The team further defended Arishfa against criticism over her comment about ScoutOP: "gaming ke alawa kuch nahi aata." It argued that ScoutOP had also commented on Arishfa's profession, including the remark, "tujhe naachne ke alawa kya aata hai?" To this remark, the Baalveer star's team noted:
"Agar Scout ne koi comment nahi kiya hota, toh aap Arishfa ke statement ko point out karke usse galat keh sakte the. Lekin jab saamne se bhi baar-baar profession par comments kiye gaye, toh phir sirf Arishfa ki ek line ko highlight karke poori situation ko one-sided dikhana fair nahi hai. Same standard dono taraf hona chahiye — agar ek statement wrong hai, toh doosri taraf ke statements ko bhi usi lens se dekha jaana chahiye."
