Alan Ritchson's troubling video surfaces, wherein he was seen attacking a neighbour in front of children. As fans are wondering what might have gone wrong, here's all about his personal life.
Alan Ritchson has been embroiled in an ugly altercation with his neighbour. The American actor, who is best known for his roles in the series, Reacher, has been accused of physical assault on a neighbour in front of children in Nashville suburbs. A video from the same has been circulating, which shows Ritchson engaged in a spat with the victim.
As per the victim, it happened on March 21, 2026, when Ritchson was riding his Kawasaki motorcyle in high speed near his residential neighbourhood. As per the victim, the loud noise was disturbing the peace. The situation turned heated with no one backing out, and the next day, Ritchson arrived with two children on their own motorbikes.
The man confronted Richson and asked him to stop his noisy behaviour. But with no avail to get a solution, the situation turned aggressive, and Ritchson punched the man in the face, kicked him, and as he struggled to get back, he hit him multiple times. The victim had visible bruising and swelling. After this, Taylor contacted the law enforcement and informed them about the incident. Neighbours also witnessed the situation, and an investigation is underway with no arrest so far.
Alan Ritchson is married to Catherine Ritchson. The couple tied the knot in 2006. She had humble beginnings, as once Catherine revealed that she had lived in a small town and would drive 30-40 minutes to watch a movie in the theatre. She grew up on a 90-acre farm and would travel long distances to get things from the main stores.
Alan and Catherine were childhood lovers. During an interview with Today show, Alan revealed that they met each other during their dance classes. The two were learning ballet. Alan revealed that Catherine would wish him luck and would bring cookies before his onstage performance, and that's how he fell in love with her. Catherine also talked about her love for Alan. She said:
"I’ll never forget seeing him for the first time in the [dance] studio. I turned to my friend Miriam and I said, ‘Who is that?’ He, at some point, came up to me and we just got chatting."
However, Alan broke up at the end of their first summer as he thought it was just a fling. She still remembers it, while Alan justifies it by saying that she lived 30 minutes away and he couldn't afford gas. After high school, Catherine studied at the University of Florida. That's when Alan visited Miami for a shoot, and they reconnected through a mutual friend.
After which, there was no looking back; the couple got married on May 12, 2006. The two are blessed with three children. Their first son, Calem, was born in 2012. Later, in 2013, they got blessed with their second son, Edan. And in 2015, their family completed with the arrival of their youngest son, Amory.
It is worth mentioning that in December 2023, the family sold off their Florida home and is living on the road. Alan had to stay far away from his family due to work. So, he thought of selling the house and living in Airbnbs and hotels while he was on sets. He said:
"Being away from my family for long stretches on location was hard on them and me. So Cat and I recently sold our Florida house and we now live in Airbnbs and hotels while I'm on set."
