Sara Ali Khan is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and his first wife, Amrita Singh. Known for her down-to-earth nature and humble personality, the actress is loved by many people. Moreover, there is no denying that Sara is the paparazzi's favourite and never fails to greet them with her 'Namaste' gesture. However, not many know that the Kedarnath actress had once threatened her close friend, Ananya Panday, to stay away from a guy.
Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday graced the third episode of the controversial show, Koffee With Karan 8. In a video that surfaced online, the two young actresses got candid about their bond and made some hearty confessions. While chatting with the host, Karan Johar, Sara talked about her friendship with Ananya and said that she doesn't have any unrealistic expectations from the latter. She added that she wouldn't force Ananya not to date a guy the former liked and said:
"I'm not saying Ananya is not a good friend of mine. She is. The thing is I don't have these kinds of unrealistic expectations from really anyone in the industry. That may be helps a little bit. There isn't an expectation that I won’t look at a boy that you like, or I won’t do a film that you’re interested in. These things don't happen."

However, Ananya was quick to tell Karan that Sara was lying straight away as the latter had once threatened her over a guy she was interested in. Explaining further, Ananya said that Sara told her that she would beat her up if she even looked at that guy. Ananya was heard saying:
“Sara has threatened me saying I’ll beat you up if you look at this person, on various occasions. You have threatened me.”
Reacting to Ananya's accusations, Sara immediately quipped, ‘Who’. She also asked her if it really worked for her and Ananya replied in affirmation. While Sara laughed about the incident, Ananya added that though she had zero interest in the guy, Sara threatened her. Ananya said:
“It has worked. I listened to this threat. I had zero interest but she threatened me.”

As soon as the video surfaced online, many netizens flooded the post's comment section with their reactions. A user wrote, "Ananya is a good friend coz she didn’t spill the guy’s name even tho Sara kept trying to rub her off here.. namaste walla thing was her key image maker but saying other girls copied is a bit far-fetched." Another penned, "Atleast Sara is being honest, we all know Ananya isn't a girl's girl either."

During the rapid-fire round, Karan Johar asked Sara to mention one thing that she doesn't have, but Ananya has. Responding to this, Sara subtly confirmed the then-ongoing relationship rumours between Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur. Sara was heard revealing that she doesn't have 'A Night Manager'. While Ananya was seen blushing initially, she later also added that she has been feeling very 'Ananya Coy Kapur'.
