The makers of the upcoming web series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, hosted a grand premiere in Mumbai. The project, which marks filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut in the OTT world, features Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sanjeeda Sheikh, in the lead roles. Recently, a heartwarming video of veteran actress, Rekha and Richa Chadha from the event surfaced online and swooned our hearts.
The viral video showed Rekha and Richa Chadha having a candid moment with each other. They indulged in a hearty conversation and were also seen laughing out loud. However, the most eye-catching moment was when Rekha kissed Richa's baby bump, leaving the latter overwhelmed. The veteran actress blessed Richa and her baby and showered her with love. Both actresses were dressed in stunning sarees and opted for subtle makeup.

Earlier, in an interaction with Pinkvilla, Richa Chadha revealed that Rekha showered her with praise for her performance during the premiere. Talking about the same, the actress shared that the moment left her overwhelmed and also revealed that she had taken inspiration from Rekha to prepare for her song in the web series. In her words:
"Receiving praise and love from someone as revered as Rekha ji is a moment I will cherish forever. I couldn't have asked for bigger validation; my heart is full. There's a song in the series, which is my solo mujra. For that, I referenced her song from Umrao Jaan, Ye kya jagah hai doston. She has been my inspiration, my hero, and she’s the definition of what an icon is. Her kind words and affection towards my performance in Heeramandi left me speechless and deeply touched. I will never forget this night and her blessings, really. This is encouragement for me to continue striving for excellence in my craft.”
On February 9, 2024, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal shared a collaborative post on their respective IG handles and announced that they were expecting their first child. The duo dropped two pictures to share their good news with their fans and left everyone ecstatic. The first picture had "1 + 1= 3" written on it, while the second was an adorable photo of the duo. Richa and Ali were seen lost in each other's eyes as the lens clicked them. Alongside the pictures, the couple penned:
"A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world."

On February 17, 2024, Richa Chadha took to her IG stories and gave an adorable glimpse of her baby bump. In the short clip, the actress was seen resting on a couch while her pet cat was seen playing alongside her. Richa was cutely caressing her furry pet and giving it a sweet pat on the head. However, what caught our attention was Richa's baby bump, which she flaunted for the first time ever since she announced her pregnancy. Atop it, she wrote:
“Cute, pink veiny ears, cotton scarf and purring, Mama ka chipkoo.”
