Moreover, it was her unmissable chemistry with her co-star, Ankit Gupta, which grabbed more attention, since the duo has been constantly speculated to be in a relationship. Priyanka and Ankit then jointly participated in the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 16 which added another feather to her cap of achievements.
Recently, a clip of Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary went viral in no time, wherein the actress could be seen returning to her hotel room. Unlike her glamorous fashion quotient most of the time, Priyanka, on the contrary could be seen sporting a dirty golden-hued salwar kameez, along with a pair of chappals and dishevelled hair. What left everyone stunned was the moment, wherein Priyanka was stopped from entering the hotel premises, by the guards, who weren’t able to identify her. Once they did her verification, the actress was given permission to go inside.

Well, the clip surely made many startled as such a treatment to a celebrity is rare in the television world. Taking to the comment section, netizens expressed their reactions to the same. Well, while a certain section of internet users criticised the actress for behaving in this way just for the sake of publicity, others clarified that Priyanka’s attire was something she just continued to wear after a shoot she had on that day.

Back in March 2024, several rumours were rife that Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary might be having plans to get hitched to her rumoured beau, Ankit Gupta. The reports even hinted that the two of them have zeroed down on a specific date by the end of 2024. However, shortly after, Priyanka took to her IG stories and issued a sassy clarification note. Dismissing all such baseless speculations about her impending nuptials with Ankit, she had written:
“It’s March!!! But lagta hai kuch media portals ka April’s Fool jaldi aagaya.”

In a media interaction right after her stint in Bigg Boss 16, Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary commented on the speculations about her dating Ankit Gupta. For the unversed, the duo appeared quite close inside the BB House, which simply fuelled more gossip. However, the actress staunchly remarked that she wasn’t dating Ankit and that the latter was just her best friend. She said:
“He is my best friend. Do log ki story wahi do log jaante hai. Aap sirf assume kar sakte ho, predict kar sakte ho. Usspe mohar toh meri and Ankit ki hi lagegi na, ki yeh sach hai ki nahi. Yeh rumour hai, we are good friends and we are just focussing on work. We are not thinking about relationships.”
