Yumna Zaidi became a household name in the Indian subcontinent after she played the role of ‘Meerab’ in the very popular Pakistani drama, Tere Bin. The chemistry between the lead couples, the plot of the drama and the twists and turns in it, made Tere Bin a must-watch of 2023. Moreover, Yumna has also earned the title of ‘Best Popular Actress’ of the year 2023 by the Diva Magazine, courtesy of the same drama.
Apart from Tere Bin, the Pakistani actress, Yumna Zaidi has also starred in several other dramas, such as Ishq E Laa, Parizaad, Pyaar Ke Sadqay, Bakhtawar, Sinf-e-Aahan, Dil Na Umeed To Nahi, and a plenty more. While her professional life has always garnered much attention, people are also curious about her personal life.

Recently, while promoting her upcoming film, Yumna Zaidi opened up about her marriage plans for the future. The 34-year-old actress was accompanied by the co-stars, Usama Khan, Fawad Khan, Javaid Sheikh, Umair Nasir Ali, and Agnes Kenney of her upcoming film, Nayab, on the show Good Morning Pakistan, which is hosted by Nida Yasir. During their conversation on the show, Yumna Zaidi was asked about getting marriage proposals.
In one of the segments of the show, a fan of Yumna showered praises upon the actress. The female fan said that Yumna is well-spoken, bubbly, and is a perfect choice for a ‘bahu’. She asked the actress how many marriage proposals the actress has gotten till now. Nida Yasir then jokingly recalls that Yumna got a proposal when she previously appeared as a guest on the show. Yumna blushed and said that she doesn't receive proposals directly, but her mother might. She also acknowledged her attractive personality and said:
“Mere khyaal se meri walda ke paas, mere paas toh directly koi nahi aata. Lekin meri hai personality aisi ki log pasand karte hai aur unka bohot shukirya. Unke khuloos aur mohabbat ka bohot shukriya.”

During the same conversation, Nida Yasir further asked actress, Yumna Zaidi about her views on marriage. Nida inquired about the qualities Yumna would like to see in her future partner. The actress expressed that she wants a partner who will support her in living a good life, similar to the one she has now. Moreover, she hopes to move forward and progress together with her partner in a positive and fulfilling way. Yumna said:
“Bas main ye sochti hun ki koi aisa insaan ho jiske saath, jitni zindagi maine ab tak guzaar li hai, acche se, toh baki ki zindagi bhi main usi tarah acche se guzaar sakoon. Upgrade hun ya jaise bhi Allah ne likha hoga, lekin aisa ho ki saath zindagi companionship acchi guzar jaye.”
