Mrunal Thakur is one of the stunning actresses in the Indian film industry. She has already shown her acting mettle in several Telegu and Hindi films, including Super 30, Pippa, Hi Nanna, Sita Ramam and many others. She was last seen in the film, The Family Star, which couldn't impress fans and ended up as a flop at the box office. However, following this, there are reports claiming that the actress has hiked her fees.
As per Telugu 360, Mrunal Thakur has reportedly hiked her fee to Rs. 5 crores for all her new projects. This is because of the rising demand for the actress in the film industry in varied languages. The report also claimed that the actress was paid a hefty amount of Rs. 3 crores for the film, The Family Star. In addition, talking about her upcoming projects, if reports are to be believed, apart from many top Tamil films, the actress will be next seen in a lead role of a film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, co-starring Prabhas.

In an old interview with Galatta Plus, Mrunal talked about her fashion regime and revealed that she doesn’t like investing a huge sum of money in designer clothing. Explaining the reason behind the same, the gorgeousness mentioned that most of those outfits are one-time wears, and one doesn’t repeat it again. Thus, investing money in them is simply of no use. She added that the maximum amount she spends on any clothing item for herself is Rs. 2000, and most of her clothes are outsourced. She said:
“Because whatever is expensive, you cannot wear them over and over again. You are not going to wear them again. These are not my clothes, I have just sourced them. The maximum money I have spent on a top is Rs 2000. That also I feel is too much.”
In the same conversation, Mrunal openly shared that instead of wasteful expenditure, she has a good habit of owning only one or two statement classic pieces, which she keeps repeating the rest of the time. Spilling beans on the hack she follows for her regular public appearances, Mrunal revealed that she likes to cheat with her wardrobe. Explaining more about it, she remarked:
“Yes, having a classic statement collection in your wardrobe is good but wearing a brand for the heck of it is a waste of money. I would rather invest that money in food, in some plants, house, or a land where I can do farming. So what we do, I cheat. In my wardrobe, if I have 1000 things, out of that five things will be statement things. I will wear a gunjee and jeans and I throw that one statement thing like a shoe or a bag and I will keep repeating it. You have to be smart and you also cannot end up investing in anything that’s in trend. Trend will just last for six months, one year and this is gone.”

Mrunal Thakur made a startling debut at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17, 2023. For the first look for her red carpet walk at Cannes, Mrunal stunned in a three-piece black ensemble, which included a sequined jacket layered over a black swimsuit. In addition, she opted for see-through lacy pants and looked completely out-of-the-box. Keeping her look absolutely minimal, Mrunal opted for boldly done kohl-rimmed eyes, absolutely no accessories, pump heels, and open tresses.
