Chunky Panday is a popular name in the Hindi film industry. He has been in the profession for over thirty years and has worked in films like Tezaab, Paap Ki Duniya, Lootere, Apna Sapna Money Money, and many more. However, Chunky is mostly remembered for his role as ‘Aakhri Pasta’ in the Housefull franchise. Apart from being known as an actor, he is also popular for being the father of Gen Z actress, Ananya Panday.
Recently, during an interview with Lehren, Chunky shared how Bhavana's arrival completely changed his life. He was first questioned about his life as a casanova, and Chunky said that he had a good life just like any other young boy or girl, generally in their early twenties. However, he added that the arrival of Bhavana grounded him, and he immediately knew that she was the ‘one’ for him. In his words:
“Bhavana was a good lion tamer and a good circus master. I was a casanova for too long. I got married at 35. I think everybody should go through their life and make their own mistakes. Bhavana was one girl… When I met her, within one week, I knew I was going to marry this girl. I don’t know why. I have never felt like that with anyone. Maybe, it’s also about the time.”

During the same conversation, the actor opened up about his bond with his daughters and shared that they are very close to their mother, Bhavana as they have a comparatively lesser age gap with her than him. Moreover, he mentioned that if his daughters, Ananya and Rysa needed anything, they would immediately call him up. He said:
“Both my girls are really close to Bhavana. Whenever they need something, Papa gets a call. But otherwise, they are very close to their mother. Of course, Bhavana is closer to their age. I am always there when advice is needed.”
Chunky Panday further heaped praise on Ananya for making a name for herself in the film industry without anyone’s help and said that if he had not been an actor, Ananya still would have become an actor as she always wanted to become one. Chunky also shared that he has been a nervous father and revealed that he ain’t as paranoid for his daughters as he is for their respective boyfriends.

Furthermore, when the actor was asked to share his thoughts about Ananya's relationship with her boyfriend, Aditya Roy Kapur and how often she talks about him, Chunky said that his daughter is free to do whatever she wants. He said that his daughter is 25 years old and he would not dare tell his daughter anything about her relationships. Sharing how Ananya earned more than him, Chunky said:
“I mean it’s fine. I mean, she is 25. She is earning more money than I am right now. So she is free to do what she wants to. How dare I tell her, my 25-year-old daughter, that you have a boyfriend? I mean I can understand, if she was 14 years old or something, I could interfere but no, no.”
