Ted Carter has recently become the face of a new controversy brewing in the U.S. It all began after he stepped down as President of Ohio State University and admitted that he granted a woman linked to a private business "inappropriate access" to the University's leadership. Nonetheless, the resignation sparked an immediate public discussion, and many reports have alleged that the issue may be linked to Callout podcast host Krisanthe Vlachos. She also works with multiple outreach programs and events. For example, in 2025, the podcast co-sponsored a theatrical performance, Last Out: Elegy of a Green Beret, with veterans and military families to raise awareness of issues affecting veterans. Yet, she has remained relatively unknown to the masses until her name surfaced in the controversy surrounding Ted.

Why is Krisanthe Vlachos linked to Ted Carter?

Krisanthe Vlachos and Ted Carter's connection became a subject of discussion after he resigned from his position in March 2026. Ted shared a statement on the same and admitted he allowed "inappropriate access to Ohio State leadership" to an individual seeking assistance with a private business venture. Although the university did not officially name the person, reports by organizations such as JobsOhio alleged that it may be related to Krisanthe Vlachos. Moreover, the economic development group stated it was aware of the resignation and the issue might be connected to Ted's bond with the podcast host.
