According to reports, Angel Reese's ex-boyfriend, Cam'Ron Nazir Fletcher, was born on July 10, 2002, in St. Louis, Missouri. He is said to have been named after the famous rapper who went by the same name and is also sometimes referred to as Killa Cam. Cam'Ron used to play basketball in high school. While attending Vashon High School in St. Louis, he averaged 20.06 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks each game. He even led his team to the semifinals, but the pandemic disrupted his path.
After a fairly successful run in high school, Cam'Ron, who played as a forward, found his next home at the University of Kentucky. In his freshman year, he did not have much of a role within the team, and after a locker room incident, Cam'Ron did not play for the majority of the season. Eventually, he decided to transfer to Florida State University, where it seemed like he would have a steady college career, but once again, back-to-back season-ending injuries put a wrench in his plans.
After 46 games in 3 years with Florida, Cam'Ron transferred for the third time to Xavier University for the 2024-25 season. Sadly, luck was not on Cam'Ron's side here, either, as the forward only got to play in 11 games and started none. In total, throughout his 5 years in college, Cam'Ron played in 66 games while suffering several devastating injuries.
As of June 2026, Cam'Ron Fletcher is 23 years old, but he will be turning a year older the very next month, in July. Cam'Ron is pretty tall at 6-foot-7 and weighs approximately 230 lbs. With a strong athletic build, any thoughts that he was set for a steady career in basketball, had it not been for the many injuries that he has suffered. This is because he has been playing the sport since he was a kid and made his first dunk when he was only 13 years old.
Cam'Ron Fletcher and Reese Angel were speculated to have met for the first time in 2017 at a mutual basketball camp. After forming a connection here, they grew closer during the pandemic and decided to begin dating in 2023. Reese confirmed her relationship with Cam'Ron in June 2023 when she appeared on the 1 Star Recruits podcast and said, “Cam’Ron is my boyfriend, yes.” Sadly, Angel and Cam'Ron's relationship did not last long and ended suddenly after a year of dating. Although at the time she revealed that they had known each other for several years. During an interview, Angel said:
“He's really supportive, and I've known him for six years.”
