Following the release of the docuseries, Mica’s personal life also grabbed a lot of attention, including her estranged husband, John-Paul Miller, who was indicted on cyberstalking his wife in December 2025. For the unversed, John was previously married to Alison Williams, who later discovered that he had an affair with Mica, leading to their split. While the entire world knows about the case, people have been eager to know where Alison Williams is today.
Alison Williams was the first wife of John-Paul Miller, and they were married for around 16 years. The pair had four children. While they were together, John reportedly started an affair with Mica in 2015. The duo had an age gap of 15 years, since John was 35 years old at that time and Mica was 20.
Alison Williams discovered her husband's affair when she saw a message on his phone where he expressed his love for Mica Miller. Notably, Mica had been working for them as their children’s babysitter and also assisting John at the church. On the other hand, when the affair started, Mica was married to her first husband, Jeremy Deas, a member of John’s congregation.
A year after the affair started, Alison and John separated in 2016. However, Alison has stayed out of the limelight for all these years, and her whereabouts remain unknown.
Back in 2024, Alison Williams filed a motion requesting temporary sole custody of their two youngest children and a suspension of contact pending a court-ordered psychological and parental fitness evaluation for John-Paul Miller. Alison said in a separate filing that while she had initially been comfortable with phone and text contact, she became concerned after the children reported that he had been discussing the ongoing legal matters with them, including statements about his plans to file lawsuits.
The filing also contained allegations that John had solicited prostitution and had engaged in alleged inappropriate conduct involving several minor members of Solid Rock. According to the filing, Williams stated that the minors had shared accounts of the alleged conduct with her, but were unwilling to come forward publicly due to fear.
Alison Williams further stated in her filings that she had attempted to make a police report and requested an investigation, but claimed she was told by officials that she would not be believed because of her husband's public profile as a pastor and because the couple was in the midst of a divorce proceeding.
According to court documents, Mica and John were married in 2017, and Mica remained on friendly terms with Alison and her stepchildren. The filings also alleged that during his marriage to Mica, John had a sexual relationship with another married woman, whose husband later drowned.
The filing claimed that just two weeks before that incident, the woman's husband had confronted John and asked him to stay away from his family. The filing further alleged that John’s mental health deteriorated during this period and that he began purchasing firearms.
According to the documents, Williams and Mica spoke while Mica was seeking guidance as her marriage was ending. The filing included reference to an undated 47-second voicemail from Mica to Williams, in which Mica reportedly asked for the name of Williams' counselor to help her navigate the situation with forgiveness and to avoid acting out of anger. She reportedly said she wanted to remain true to herself and find peace.
