The social media personality recently confirmed her permanent exit from hit Hulu reality series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which made her famous in the first place.
After multiple controversies, Taylor Frankie Paul is seemingly focused on rebranding her life away from the reality TV attention. She has not announced any new TV projects. In fact, she has clarified that her focus at the moment is fighting her legal battles and spending time on herself.
The influencer has also suggested that she intends to step back from the public spotlight and drama, which was a part of her life in the last few years. At the same time, she is not going to pursue any new opportunity in the entertainment industry. Instead, Taylor wants to prioritize her personal growth and stability. In her words:
"My gratitude goes to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return. However, I don't desire to move forward like this. I originally was willing to be removed to let them all continue on with less stress, and I'm back to that point."
Taylor Frankie Paul's decision to step away from the reality series comes after she got involved in some major public controversies. They had a negative impact on both her career and personal life. In turn, her immediate future is all about family, recovery, and moving forward despite challenges.
According to the reality TV star, the past few months have been difficult for her to deal with. The legal issues and personal matters sucked all her strength and attention. Ultimately, Taylor felt "relieved" to exit the show. She also explained that removing herself from the show would give her a chance to continue without adding more conflict in her life.
For those who do not know, Taylor's exit comes after months of controversy. She is currently handling custody issues with her children's fathers. It started after she and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, blamed each other for domestic abuse in early 2026.
It temporarily halted the production of their show. Meanwhile, a clip showing Taylor physically assaulting Dakota went viral. Later, in August 2026, a judge ruled that she had successfully completed her three-year probation linked to her 2023 domestic violence case and reduced the charge.
However, Dakota got the custody of their son, and she got an unsupervised overnight visitation with her young son in June 2026. In fact, after a month, she voluntarily checked into a treatment facility to deal with the stress from her personal life. Recently, some reports also claimed she failed a drug test ordered by the court, but it isn't confirmed as of now. Meanwhile, she has two more kids, who live with her former husband, Tate Paul.
