Talking about her, he had shared, “We aren’t closeted about our personal lives just to create intrigue about us. You can see our pictures on our Instagram handles. I don’t talk about these things as I’m shy. I prefer coming back to a regular home like any other family. Coming back to reality from this glamorous, fragile, world of make-believe keeps me sane. Or I can be consumed by things and turn self-destructive at times.”

During Vikrant’s shoot for the movie, Chapaak in Delhi on June 6, 2019, a bride had gatecrashed the sets and had created a scene there and had cried inconsolably. As reported by a daily, the bride had refused to budge and created a ruckus about how she doesn’t want to get married. When she had held her ground for over an hour, Vikrant sat down with her for a chat and tried to pursue her to return to her wedding venue. However, his words fell on deaf ears. Finally, the security team had to intervene, and cops were called on set.
In an interview with the Mid-Day, Vikrant Massey had talked about his reaction on the same incident and had said, “Initially, I didn't know how to react. Although I was humbled, the fact was that I couldn't let her leave her wedding functions and had to ensure that she returns safely to her family. I will always be grateful for people loving my work and admiring me, but sometimes we are left in situations that throw us off balance. This was a bizarre incident."
