The Ambanis rocked and rolled the weddings with innumerous, extravagant, pre-wedding festivities, and performing together on the star-studded sangeet. Apart from giving the world #RichieRich goals, the Ambani clan, consisting right from the senior most member, Kokilaben Ambani, Mukesh Ambani, wife, Nita Ambani, kids, Isha Ambani Piramal, Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani make for sheer #FamilyGoals (of course, with new additions in the list!).
As much as we love and take major inspirations from the Ambani family, we came across an unseen throwback picture of Mukesh Ambani’s clan, when their three chiraag, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani and Anant Ambani were all teenagers! The picture had the Kokilaben Ambani, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, along with their three teenage kids, all smiles for the camera as they posed. While the three ladies decked themselves in traditional wears, the three men of Mukesh Ambani’s household, sported tuxedos. Here’s their picture:
From being a career-driven entrepreneur to an able mother, a doting bahu and a supportive wife, Nita Ambani is sheer goals in herself! From overseeing her husband, Mukesh Ambani’s business ventures to being the chairperson in a zillion social work that she does, no wonder Nita Ambani inspires millions! Now an established ‘business woman’, a YourStory report contained many interesting facts about the beautiful entrepreneur, Nita Ambani. In an interview, she spoke about her ‘moving office’ and had stated, “I have a moving office. If I am at the school, then everything moves there. If it's IPL season, then all the work happens from the stadium or the place where the cricketers are staying. If I am at the hospital, then all my meetings happen there. Nita Ambani has always had a firm hold on her family. When their kids, Isha Ambani Piramal, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani were growing up, it was Nita, who had asked her husband, Mukesh Ambani to influence their kids too. She had shared in an interview, “I told him you may be busy influencing the future of Reliance and the country, but you better influence the future of your kids too. I believe that it’s not just quality but also the quantity of time spent with the kids that makes them sound individuals.”
Speaking about maintaining a work-life balance, Nita Ambani had shared, “As Indian women, we are always balancing work, life, home, etc. It’s important to know that while juggling rubber balls and glass balls, the former may bounce back when you miss, but the glass balls will crack if you let them fall. So prioritise, prioritise, prioritise.”
Isha Ambani Piramal too, in a February interview with Vogue, had spoken about her star family and handling business disagreements. She had shared, “We are a family-owned business but that does not mean we are family-run. With my mother in the school, I work for her. Similarly, with my father at Reliance, I work for him. So it’s like any boss-and-subordinate relationship, but we always discuss everything in a healthy and open way. I definitely cannot be making any decision in isolation. We have to take calls in a responsible and data-driven way and we also have the management and boards to answer to. In a professionally-run ecosystem, there is no place for personal disagreements.”
Isha Ambani Piramal had also thrown light on the passion and energy that the entire family gets to work in the same interview, “I really don’t know. I think it’s just the pace of life I’ve seen and lived all my life. I don’t know if my parents have known another pace. To be honest, if anything, it has slowed down for them from what it used to be. Like in my growing-up years in Jamnagar, when it was still early days for Infocomm, when everything was being birthed… one can’t imagine the dedication and perseverance I have seen [in my parents]. In many ways, what you grow up seeing is what you become.
