Unseen Pictures From Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra's Grand Late Night Engagement Party

Tell us something truly, did your heart miss a beat when Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas finally made their relationship official on August 18, 2018, from their respective Instagram profiles? It surely happened to us! It has been two days since the couple announced their relationship to the world and the feeling hasn’t just sunk in yet. Innumerous wishes from friends from the industry, fans and media poured in, ever since the duo posted pictures and made their official announcement. The to-be ‘Mrs Jonas’ and the man of her dreams, posted a heartfelt ‘thank you’ message to all their fans, through their individual profiles. Sharing quite a few unseen pictures from her roka ceremony and puja, Priyanka wrote, “The only way to do this... with Family and God. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings”. While nothing could beat their pious, intimate and beautiful puja-cum-roka ceremony, secretly, what we also looked forward to was the couple’s star-studded engagement bash! The party began quite late at night, and needless to say, the wait was totally worth it! The couple looked graceful to another level, and celebs like Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Arpita Khan, Aayush Sharma, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, et al, were present at the party. Wasn’t it amazing? Also, something very interesting for you. A couple of bytes taken from the panditji who conducted the puja, shared interesting inside details about the event. One panditji revealed that a Ganesh-Laxmi puja was held at the Chopra household, for the peace and happiness of the lovebirds. There were 5 pandits who did the puja, which went on for about 4 hours. Priyanka and Nick attended the puja at the beginning, during the aarti and while it was ending. The panditji further revealed that Nick is a very nice, simple and humble person. Everyone made sure that they pamper the recently engaged couple. Hence, little sister Parineeti Chopra, twinned with her dear ‘mimi didi’ in yellow and shared a heartfelt note and a beautiful picture with her. She wrote, “Today I witnessed magic and a fairytale ... When we were kids, mimi didi and I used to play “ghar ghar”. We would pretend to be shy brides, have imaginary children, and serve tea to our husbands! cheesy, but its because we always believed in the magic of love and hoped we would both find that perfect man for us one day!!”

The note further continued, “Today there was no pretending. I cant think of a more a perfect man for her. Like I said this morning, there are two ways of judging a human being. One - travel with them, and two, eat with them. Nick, I have done both with you. And so I know you’re perfect for her!! Love her, because she loves you like mad! Protect her, because shes strong, but a soft soul inside. I love you both and wish you all the happiness forever!!!!! HAPPY ROKA AND FUTURE WEDDING!!”

Priyanka’s beautiful momma, Madhu Chopra also has some important and great advice on how to lead a happy married life. In an interview with Zoomtv.com, Madhuji referred to her own wedding to late Ashok Chopra and stated that "a marriage should be built brick by brick and every day should be like Valentines Day". She further stated that "the husband should be qualified enough to take care of his wife in health and happiness." Speaking of her own marriage, she added that "they don't argue or fight but sit and listen to each other's point of view. This is the perfect wedding lesson for the newly- engaged couple." And concluded by saying that "these lessons have been instilled in Priyanka since a very young age."
