The two got married at an Indianapolis courthouse with family and friends as their witnesses. And it is Jade, who announced the happy news with his fans through her official social media handle.
Taking to her IG handle, Jones shared a few pictures with Haliburton soon after their courthouse wedding and announced the news of their marriage. For the ceremony, the couple donned contrasting outfits as Haliburton went with an all-black outfit while Jones opted for a white dress, white heels and a bouquet of white flowers.
In one of the pictures, the duo was seen kissing each other passionately. The couple dated for seven years and it was on July 28, 2025, when Haliburton proposed to Jones inside of Hilton Coliseum. As per reports, after their courthouse wedding, the couple is planning to hold a ceremony on August 1, 2026. Along with the adorable pictures, she penned:
“It's (courthouse) official.”
Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones met at Iowa State University. She was the part of the cheerleading team and Haliburton was rising star and was building his path in basketball. It was in the college campus that the two met and got close and became best friends. In 2019, the duo officially started dating and despite Haliburton’s popularity in NBA, his love for Jones never changed.
Jones supported Haliburton during his time with the Sacramento Kings and later when he moved to the Indiana Pacers. She was a constant visitor in all his games, and even travelled with him when she could. When Haliburton played for Team USA in the Olympics in 2024, Jones was there too, travelling across countries just to support him.
After dating for six years, he proposed to her and chose a special place for the same. He went back to Iowa State University, to the same basketball court where their story began. The big placard read, “Will you marry me?” and she said yes as it was what she always wanted. He later shared on Instagram: “The place where our story started, and where our next chapter begins.”
The duo never misses a chance to share snippets of their love story and Jones’ social media handle is proof of the same. When the duo completed six years of being together, she penned a heartfelt note for him, which can be read as “6 whole years of loving you. Every single day you continue to amaze me.” Tyrese Haliburton replied: “6 years damn, my ride or die always! Love you girl.”
Jones has been Haliburton’s biggest supporter and he has often spoken about the same as well. When he suffered an Achilles injury in Game 7, during the NBA Finals as the Pacers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder. During that moment, Jade Jones stood by him and extended her support by penning a note for him, which can be read as:
“You have been nothing short of amazing. You are so selfless, brave, and strong! I will always be your biggest cheerleader.”
