Tiger Wood's Car Crash, Mugshot Has Been Released, He Held 'Lethargic' Demeanour Before DUI Arrest

The world's number one golfer, Tiger Woods has been arrested with DUI charges. Now, his mugshot has been released along with some new details.

The world's number one golfer, Tiger Woods, has been hitting headlines as he has been arrested after his car crash in Jupiter Island, Florida. Tiger Woods was arrested with DUI charges and was expected to be released after 8 hours.

This is not the first time that the pro golfer was charged with DUI; it was back in 2017, when he pleaded guilty to reckless driving. The recent incident took place at around 2 p.m ET on March 26, 2026. Now, a mugshot of the golfer was released, and along with this, the Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek shared some new details about Tiger Woods's lethargic behaviour before the arrest.

Tiger Woods's mugshot was released after his DUI arrest

Following his arrest, a mugshot of Tiger Woods was released, wherein he appeared to have bloodshot eyes, and he didn't smile for the camera. On the other hand, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek, in a press conference, said that neither Woods nor his driver was injured. As per the sheriff, Woods held a lethargic demeanour on the scene and did exhibit signs of impairment.

Authorities further revealed that Tiger Woods was alone when the accident took place, and his girlfriend, Vanessa and her daughters were not involved in the same accident. It couldn't be confirmed by the authorities whether Woods was wearing a seat belt or not. If the reports are to be believed, Tiger Woods's Land Rover ended up on the side of Jupiter Island.

Reportedly, Woods was speeding his SUV and was trying to overtake a pickup trucker pulling a pressure cleaner, but struck the rear body of the vehicle, leading his car to roll over. As per the Martin County Sheriff, John Budensiek, Woods was not under the influence of alcohol as he passed the Breathalyser test. However, he said 'no' to take a urinalysis and didn't want to undergo the same, which could have examined the presence of other substances or medications. As per the Sheriff, authorities believe that Woods was impaired by medication or other substances. To mention, no drug or alcohol was found in the car, as per the Sheriff.

With his recent arrest, Tiger Woods's personal life also grabbed the attention. For the unversed, Tiger has been in a relationship with Donald Trump's former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump. Vanessa got married to Donald Trump Jr. in 2005, and they have five kids. It was in 2018, when Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. called it quits and opted for divorce.
