Tiger Woods' arrest last week after a vehicle accident has become the talk of the town, as it was his third car crash. The golf star was found inside a rolled-over Land Rover SUV on March 27, 2026, near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida. After failing a sobriety test, he was arrested on DUI charges and has since lost his position for this year's Masters game. Now, newly released 911 audio has captured the terrifying moments that immediately followed Woods' car crash.

Multiple 911 calls were made after Tiger Woods' car crash

Page Six recently obtained audio clips from various 911 calls that the operators received back-to-back after Woods' car crash. In the dispatch recordings obtained from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, a caller can be heard urgently telling the operators I am calling to report a vehicle accident. Multiple agencies scrambled to respond to the increasing number of calls coming from the same location. Some of the callers requested backup units to manage traffic near the crash site.

At a point during the frantic call, the dispatchers can be heard asking whether the responders had been able to communicate with the vehicle's driver. The response from the other side was worrisome: "No ma’am, unfortunately." Upon reaching the site, some eyewitnesses had mentioned that Woods had lost consciousness inside the car after it rolled over.

How did the crash occur?

According to reports, the crash occurred not far away from Woods' Florida residence. It was later confirmed that his vehicle had collided with another car that was traveling at a high speed before it flipped onto its side. Woods was the only one inside the car and reportedly exited the vehicle by crawling out from the passenger side.

When the officials checked on him, Woods reportedly showed visible signs of impairment and appeared in a daze. His eyes were bloodshot with dilated pupils, and his movements were slow and lethargic. After he failed the sobriety test, the police also reportedly found two pills in his pocket, which were later identified as hydrocodone.

The golf star reportedly denied using alcohol and tested negative in the breathalyser. However, questions were raised when he refused to submit a urine test and was subsequently arrested. He was charged with misdemeanour DUI, property damage, and refusal to comply with testing. In bodycam footage, he denied drinking alcohol but admitted he was on medication. After he failed the sobriety tests, the officers went on to arrest him for DUI, and a visibly irritated Woods can be heard saying:

“You’re gonna arrest me?”

In visuals from police bodycam, Woods looks irritated and angry as he takes out his phone and keeps walking a few steps away, saying he was making a call to President Donald Trump. When the deputies approach him again, with one of them saying, "We need you to hang out here with us, please," he walks back and says, "Yeah, I was just talking to the president."

Tiger Woods' charges as he steps away from the Masters game

According to a report by TMZ Sports, Tiger Woods has been charged with careless driving, along with DUI. However, under Florida law, careless driving is not a criminal offence but a civil traffic offence. On April 2, 2026, the ticket was filed in Martin County and carries a fine of USD 163. Following the incident, Woods addressed the situation publicly, acknowledging its seriousness and announcing he would step away to focus on his health. He shared:
