This Bride Sets A Trend With Her Unique 'Butter Chicken With Bhujia' Mehendi Design

Gone are the days when brides used to stick to traditional reds. Recently, we spotted a bride, who not only chose a pink lehenga for her D-day but wore a backless blouse with it.

Meet our couple of the week, Sanchita Rajvanshi and Prasoon Kochhar, who had tied the knot in February this year in Bikaner, Rajasthan (bride's hometown). However, there wedding has been trending for many reasons. Right from the unique wedding hashtag to prettiest mehendi design, this couple has proved that to make your wedding a hit - all you need to do is trust your heart. For the mehendi ceremony, the bride had opted for pistachio green sharara teamed with matching embellished crop top and dupatta. She completed her look with statement maang teeka, matching earrings and subtle makeup. On the other hand, the groom looked dashing in a pistachio green Nehru jacket. The mehendi fun doubled up with Sanchita's quirkiest wedding hashtag that she included in her mehendi design. She asked her mehendi artist to add three words - Butter Chicken With Bhujia in her design. The reason behind using this hashtag was because Sanchita hails from Bikaner which is famous for bhujia while her groom is a Punjabi, who loves butter chicken.

For the sangeet night, the bride had slipped into a gorgeous glistening lehenga from designer, Abhinav Mishra. She had looked ultra-glamorous in a minimal maang teeka and chainset. Her look was completed with glittery eyes and highlighted makeup. On the other hand, the groom had opted for a black tuxedo.

For the haldi ceremony, Sanchita kept her look traditional in a yellow saree teamed with a pink blouse. She had ditched the accessory for the morning ceremony and had picked gajra as an adornment on her head. Also, we cannot ignore the nimbu mirchi backdrop that had added the authentic Indian touch to the ceremony.

For the wedding day, the bride had picked a gorgeous pink lehenga, which featured a backless dori blouse and golden floral embroidery and double dupatta - one in the shade of mint blue and the other in a bright pink share.
