He Proposed This TV Actress With 500 Roses, What Followed Was A Colourful Big Fat Wedding!

Television actress Deeya Chopra of Mrs. Kaushik Ki Panch Bahuein fame married her boyfriend, Ritchie Mehta on November 27, in Delhi, and boy, it was one affair to watch.

Deeya, who is also the younger sister of television actress and IPL host, Roshni Chopra, had a four-day long celebration which was attended by the couple’s close friends and family members.

If reports are to be believed, Ritchie proposed Deeya with a bouquet of 500 roses and then popped up the question. So, without further ado, let us show you this lovely couple’s complete wedding album.

The bachelorette

Deeya’s bachelorette was hosted by her ‘maid of honour’, who was none other than her darling sister, Roshni. The entire girlie gang of the bride-to-be wore the ‘team bride’ T-shirts, and it is pretty evident from the pictures that the girls had a gala time at the bash. Cocktail party

Well, the wedding extravaganza began with the cocktail party. Dressed in an aqua blue saree and a metallic blouse, Deeya looked ravishing at the do. Complementing the to-be bride pretty well, Ritchie looked suave in an all-black outfit teamed up with a maroon pocket square. Mehendi ceremony

The cocktail party was followed by a mehendi ceremony, which was a day function. The bride-to-be looked resplendent in a blue and pink embroidered ghagra choli. She accessorised herself with floral jewellery, which added all the more freshness to her look.  

The groom also looked dapper in a combination of pink kurta and black bandhgala jacket.

One of the most adorable couples from the telly world, Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal, were also present at the mehendi ceremony.

The venue was decorated with bright props, which gave us some serious wedding décor inspiration. To name a few, hanging umbrellas, marigold flowers, bright backdrops and colourful tents were some of the interesting elements that caught our attention. Have a look:
