Meet our bride of the week, who left our jaws dropped with her stunning dance performance with her blogger-groom. Also, her 'sangeet' outfit is an inspiration for all the brides-to-be!
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our world. However, it has drastically impacted the big fat wedding culture in India. Weddings in our country can never ever get completed without inviting the long-lost uncles and aunts and neighbourhood people. But within just nineteen months, the world has changed, and our lavish weddings have turned into intimate affairs.
Nowadays, the gathering which was of no less than 500 people is cut to 25 people. However, it is definitely a sigh of relief for all brides and grooms as they won't have to face the 'log kya kahenge' question from their parents and relatives. They can laugh their heart out, dance all night and can plan their dream wedding according to their own beliefs.
Meet our bride of the week, Ridhi Shah is a choreographer and runs her own dance academy, Ridhi Shah Dance and Fitness. The gorgeousness had tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Simrranjit Ghuraa, who is a famous digital content creator and runs his own blog, The Hunger Blogger.
The bride had left us stunned with her unique choice of outfit for her sangeet ceremony. She had picked a gorgeous pink-cape style saree. Her outfit was not just easy breezy but had also added charm to her dance moves. She had accessorised her look with a blue-hued choker neckpiece and matching earrings.
The bride had picked a gorgeous jewel-toned green gown for her engagement ceremony. Her look was accentuated with statement earrings and a bracelet. Subtle makeup with smokey-green eyes and open tresses had added more charm to her look. On the other hand, her groom had donned a crisp black tuxedo.
For the wedding day, the bride had donned a pretty red lehenga with double dupattas. She had accessorised her look with a neckpiece and a maang teeka. However, it was her groom, who had stolen the show with his red kurta jacket, which he had worn over cream-coloured sherwani. His look was completed with a turban and kalgi.
We love the bride's gorgeous look, but it was her mehendi ensemble that won our hearts!
