Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce planning to get married at New York City's Madison Square Garden? An insider shares details.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding is gaining a lot of traction since the past few months. Days after their wedding guest list grabbed attention on social media, a new report by Page Six is hogging the limelight, which claims that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might tie the knot in New York City's iconic Madison Square Garden in July 2026.
A while ago, Page Six revealed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are planning to tie the knot at New York City's iconic Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026. Even though nothing has been confirmed by the couple, media outlet, The Daily Mail reached out to a source close to the much-loved couple and revealed that Taylor’s guest list as well does not know their wedding venue. The source was quoted as saying:
"I get that, she doesn't want everyone knowing where she is getting married until the last minute for security reasons. Now it is one big guessing game, everyone is wondering where it will be. Probably a massive hotel like the Waldorf Astoria that has amazing security and access."
A few days ago, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce grabbed attention for their limited wedding guest. Multiple reports claimed that a lot of their friends might also not be invited to their big day. Amid that, one of their friends came forward and shared that she received an invite from Taylor and Travis, in which they mentioned that bringing a plus one was not allowed. The friend shared:
"My invite did not let me bring a plus one. I mean, what am I supposed to do? Go alone? That is so awkward. I don't think I am going to attend because I don't want to go by myself and I am not sure I will know too many people there. I mean, sorry, I am not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid! Some will be able to invite a guest, so it doesn't feel totally fair. I know Selena Gomez is bringing her husband, Benny Blanco, so she has a plus one, but I am not allowed to have a plus one because I am a single woman. I get it, the venue can probably allow for only so many people, but it's not the best feeling."
After being together for a few years, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement through a heartfelt Instagram post shared in August 2025. Travis Kelce proposed to the singer in the backyard of his house, which was covered with flowers. Later, in an interview, the NFL player revealed that he was very nervous while proposing to Taylor and even got emotional. Around that time, Taylor Swift opened up about the surprise proposal and shared:
"He really crushed it when it came to surprising me. We filmed the podcast for about three or four hours ... and meanwhile, behind his house, he was having the whole back garden turned into this [floral scene]."
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship is one of the most talked-about and loved love stories of recent times. Reportedly, their romance began in 2023, when the NFL star attended the singer's Eras Tour concert; however, they couldn't meet on that day. Travis once revealed that he was upset that he couldn't meet Taylor and hand her a friendship bracelet.
Eventually, they met and gradually fell in love with each other. Soon, they began dating. It is worth mentioning that Andy Reid played a big role in Taylor and Travis' relationship. For the unversed, Andy had suggested Travis attend the Eras Tour concert. Travis once explained, "Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people. When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love."
