Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap are the epitome of couple goals. They have been each other’s biggest cheerleaders and had faced all the ups and downs of life together. In seven years of dating and thirteen years of marital bliss, Ayushmann and Tahira have literally grown together.
Ayushmann Khurrana had met his ladylove, Tahira Kashyap for the first time in their Physics tuition in class 12th. Despite ignoring the feelings they had for each other for some time, Ayushmann and Tahira had started dating. After tying the knot in 2008, Tahira and Ayushmann have created a beautiful paradise with their two little munchkins, Virajveer and Virushka.

On July 6, 2021, Tahira took to her IG handle and shared a twinning picture with her son, Virajveer. Sharing the coincidence of their twinning outfits and revealing the ‘mommy sin’ she committed, Tahira wrote, “Coming back home to this smile after getting a dozen voice notes which start as soon as I step out! In my attempt to coordinate (apart from the colours we are wearing, which just happened without any coordination honestly) from my work place I made him wait for a zoom class while he was home for 30 min, which…. Gulp…. I forgot wasn’t today #the7sinsofbeingamother.”
On January 2, 2021, Virajveer had turned 9, and the doting mommy penned a poem for her little wonder. Tahira had shared a picture of Virajveer with his furry friend, Peanut and had written, “Happy birthday my first born. You got my eyes, but I wish you have your own vision. You got the colour of my hair but I wish you have something of your own to share Spread love and humanity all around, beauty in everyone you should seek and may you realise that just like everyone you too are unique #birthdayboy.”

When Tahira Kashyap Khurrana was undergoing her breast cancer treatment, she had undergone multiple surgeries and chemotherapies, which resulted in her bald look. Tahira, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, had revealed how her then-7-year-old son, Virajveer Khurrana was embarrassed of her and what was her reaction to the same.
Speaking about the same, Tahira had stated, “I remember my 7-year-old son was embarrassed because I was bald. He told me not to come in front of his friends. But I didn’t want that. So I went & met all his friends, they gaped for a bit but were normal later. I think I redefined ‘normal’ & ‘beautiful’ for my son that day. I am happy & full of gratitude. I am determined to spread awareness about early detection of breast cancer & follow my passion by overcoming any curve balls thrown my way. I’ve made it my mission to love myself & to live my best life, come what may.”
