And now that Athiya is all grown up and is getting linked to cricketer, KL Rahul, her father, Suniel Shetty reaction to her relationship is very father-like.
A lot of buzz has been created on social media and the media about Athiya's relationship with the cricketer, KL Rahul. Currently, the duo is in London, and a few days back, some of the pictures shared by Athiya made everyone think that she is accompanying the cricketer for the World Test Championship Final. However, even if the couple hasn't confirmed anything, they often dedicate social media posts for each other.

In an interview with the Bombay Times, Suniel Shetty confirmed that Athiya is in the UK now, but she is there with her brother, Ahan Shetty. "Yes, she is in England, but she is with Ahan. The brother-sister duo has gone there for a holiday. Rest you may check with them."
A few days back, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul featured in an eyewear advertisement together and had looked dapper in the promotional creatives. Talking about the ad, her father, Suniel Shetty said that it is best to ask them as far as the ad is concerned. He said, "I think it is best you speak to them. As far as the ad goes... I mean it is an international brand and they chose to take the two of them as the brand ambassadors."

Going further in the interview, Suniel Shetty told the leading daily that he thinks that Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul look good together. Stating the same, he said, "I think they look brilliant together. They are a good-looking couple, na? So, it totally works from a brand perspective. And I must say, they look good together, well, in the ad."
As Ahan Shetty is in England with his sister, Suniel Shetty had shared a video a few days ago, in which we could spot KL Rahul and Ahan together. In the video, both of them were seen taking a long run. sharing the same, Suniel Shetty had captioned the video as "MY LOVE MY STRENGTH !! @ahan.shetty @rahul.kl."
