Khalid Al Ameri is a UAE-based influencer with a huge following in the Indian subcontinent as well. In recent times, much of his content has revolved around niche desi topics such as Bangalore traffic, Kerala biryani, Bollywood romance, and more. Many of his fans had thought that Khalid was showing his love for India. A recent revelation about his personal life has, however, revealed that not only the country, but Khalid also seems to be madly in love with one Indian in particular.
South Indian actress Sunainaa Yella has won the Emirati influencer's heart, and the two are all set to marry soon as well. As the couple made their relationship official with an Instagram post, here's everything to know about Khalid Al Ameri's fiancee, Sunainaa Yella.
Sunainaa Yella was born into a Telugu family residing in Nagpur, Maharashtra. She was raised in the same city, however, her family later moved away to Hyderabad. In 2005, she marked her first appearance on screen with the film Kumar vs Kumari. It was in the following year that Sunainaa got her first big break with the film 10th Class. After these two Telugu films, Sunainaa then made her way into the Malayalam and Kannada film industry as well.
Sunainaa's breakthrough role was in the 2008 film, Kadhalil Vizhunthen, which was also her first Tamil-language movie. After this, Sunainaa started to take on more and more performance-based roles. She was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Tamil, after her performance in Neerparavai was highly praised. Although Sunainaa had first started her career with Telugu films, after 2006, her next Telugu film, Raja Raja Chora, was released in 2021. Sunaina's last appearance was in 2025, where she shared the screen with Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in Kuberaa. She played the role of 'Shilpa' (renamed 'Deepa' in the Tamil version, who was the wife of 'Deepak', played by Nagarjuna.
Sunainaa and Khalid have been linked together since 2024. The actress had shared a monochrome photo which showed her holding a man's hand. There were no words on the photo, except for a very telling lock emoji. Soon after, Khalid posted a similar snap holding a woman's hand. However, there was one huge difference. The mystery woman was wearing a diamond ring on 'that' special finger, and he had also captioned the photo with just one word, "Alhamdulilah (thanks be to God)". Online sleuths connected the dots and linked the Indian actress with the Emirati influencer, after Sunainna liked the photo.
As per a Hindustan Times report, Sunainaa later addressed the murmurs regarding her relationship status and revealed that she was indeed engaged. She thanked everyone for the wishes. However, Sunainna did not clarify whether the person in the photo was Khalid. Hence, until very recently, their relationship was not officially public. Thanking everyone for the engagement wishes, Sunainna had said:
"Hi, I’ve seen some articles about my last post and wanted to clarify that I am indeed happily engaged. Thank you for all the wonderful messages; it means so much”.
Despite the strong hints linking Sunainaa and Khalid, people were still awaiting official confirmation. After a nearly year-long wait, Khalid made his engagement with Sunainnaa official. On December 6, 2025, he shared a carousel showcasing moments from his birthday. Two of these photos on the carousel showed Khalid and Sunainaa posing together. He also posted photos on his Insta Story and thanked his fiancee for the 'beautiful birthday'.
