Sugandha Mishra talked about her wedding trousseau and her plans to wear a 10 kg 'lehenga' on her wedding. She also revealed the details of her wedding outfit!
The Kapil Sharma Show fame, Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale were rumoured to be dating since 2017. The two had kept their relationship under the wraps and had always called each other ‘good friends,’ till they announced the news of their engagement on April 17, 2021. The couple is all set to tie the knot on April 26, 2021, in Ludhiana and now, Sugandha has talked about their wedding trousseau.

On April 18, 2021, Sugandha Mishra had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a couple of beautiful pictures with her husband-to-be. Alongside it, she had written, "Thanx for Showering your Blessings and Soo much of Love. Feeling really grateful for your wishes. Countdown begins. Feeling really grateful for your wishes. 26.4.2021." As their wedding is just a week away, Sugandha talked about the couple’s wedding trousseau and her wedding lehenga.
In a conversation with ETimes, Sugandha Mishra shared that the actress always wanted to get married in a traditional red lehenga but it is out of trend now, she has opted for an off-white lehenga. Sharing the details of her lehenga, she said, “One of my friends who is a designer is helping me with arrangements. We have been getting designs from designers online and then with a lot of pain we do trials for the outfits. Then return if we don’t like it. It is a continuous process and the lehenga is ready but the choli is yet to be made. I wanted to wear red but these days pastels colours are in trend and no one opts for red. So, luckily I have got a lehenga which has all the stuff and designs which I wanted but it is in off-white. I am wearing an off-white lehenga. It has a temple, peacock and all the designs which I dreamt of.”
Sugandha has been shopping for her wedding trousseau virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions and revealed that she plans to wear a 10 kg lehenga even if there will be 20 people in her wedding. She said, "I have done most of my wedding shopping online and you won’t believe I had started the preparation from December for my wedding attire. I am very particular about my wedding outfit because for me it doesn’t matter if the marriage is happening with 20 just people, I always wanted to wear a 10 kg lehenga. I can marry online also but I have to wear a 10 kg lehenga."
Sugandha also shared that her groom-to-be, Sanket will be colour coordinating with her and she has been taking care of his wedding trousseau too. She shared, "Sanket will be colour coordinating with me. Yes, I am personally looking after his wedding trousseau. I am in touch with the designer and I am very particular which colour in pastels will go in contrast with my lehenga. We do sketches and have an online group where we have long discussions.”

Revealing that she is still in Mumbai and how her family has started teasing her that she will only come with dulha and baaraat, she added, “In fact, I am still in Mumbai and my family has started pulling my leg if I am coming with the dulha and baraatis (laughs). I will be leaving in a day or two. I had made a song and had wished to sing a duet on my sangeet and perform also but this lockdown ruined everything. I had planned to release that song also later. Everyday I get a shocker."
