Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja are making their ‘everyday phenomenal’ together with a huge contribution of love and support from their respective parents, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, Sunil Ahuja and Priya Ahuja. Married for close to two years now, Sonam and Anand have been juggling between their work and personal life in Delhi, Mumbai and London. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Sonam and Anand are making the most of their quarantine phase in Delhi with his parents, while the Kapoor family is in Mumbai. In a ‘miss you’ post for her sister, Rhea Kapoor and rumoured soon-to-be brother-in-law, Karan Boolani, Sonam had written, “Miss these two @rheakapoor @karanboolani” followed by an array of heart and crying emojis.

I had run out of chocolate and @fortunegourmetindia sent me some amazing quality chocolate. Thanks so much @missdevi for organising. Love you.” Sonam’s mother-in-law, Priya Ahuja was all praises for her but had a query in mind. She had commented, "Amazing cakes beta. How to manage the weight gain? Everybody is loving them so much." To which, Sonam replied, “You're perfect.”
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja are quarantined in their Delhi residence due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Without putting their lives at risk and following the social distancing protocol, Sonam had found an innovative way to talk to her mother-in-law, Priya Ahuja. Sharing an Insta story of Sonam standing at the window of the first floor of their home and talking to her mother-in-law, who was on the ground floor, Anand had written, “Quarantine times” atop it. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja shares a warm camaraderie with her mother-in-law, Priya Ahuja and with her Eid 2019 special post, we can easily decipher how she is spoiled by her in-laws. Sonam had received a gift, an anarkali, on the occasion of Eid from her mother-in-law and thanking her for the same, she had written in the caption, "@priya27ahuja thank you for always buying me the most beautiful gifts... new outfit for eid! Love you mom!" Anand S Ahuja had commented on the picture, "Moommmm. You're spoiling her na? @priya27ahuja haha. You and pappa both! Too soft for your daughter!"
It wasn’t the first time when Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had thanked her mother-in-law for a gift and had flaunted the same on her social media handle. Sonam had worn a beautiful dress at Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s engagement bash at Lake Como, Italy in September 2018, and had posted a picture with hubby, Anand S Ahuja on her Instagram handle. Revealing that her outfit for the occasion was gifted by her mother-in-law on her birthday, Sonam had captioned it as "Wearing my birthday present (dress emoji) by @priya.ahuja27 thanks so much mom! I felt like a princess! (diamond emoji) by @kapoor.sunita (love you)."
On Mother’s Day 2019, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had taken to her Instagram handle to wish her mother-in-law, Priya Ahuja on the special day. Calling her mom-in-law 'selfless' and seeking her blessings, Sonam had shared the following picture and had written, "Happy mamas day to the most elegant, kind and loving person I know... I love you mom.. thanks for being so selfless. Anand and I are together because of your prayers and blessings.. love you lots! @priya.ahuja27 @priya27ahuja."
