Smriti Mandhana's mom, Smita Mandhana, roasted Palaash Muchhal after the Indian women's cricketer won the WPL for RCB!
Smriti Mandhana grabbed all the attention with her win at WPL after a few months of personal turmoil. Smriti Mandhana was all set to marry Palaash Muchhal in November 2025; however, it was after the duo's sangeet that it was revealed that the couple postponed their wedding.
There were speculations about Palaash cheating on Smriti; however, the couple didn't really reveal the cause of them taking such a step. Well, reportedly, Palaash was caught red-handed on the day of the sangeet. Now, after months of personal turmoil, Smriti has proved why she is hailed as one of the greatest cricketers in India. Well, Smriti's mom, Smita, seemingly roasted Palash.
A meme page recently posted some content that, in a joking way, mentioned that Smriti Mandhana saw Palaash Muchhal's face in every ball from the opposition team. It was Smriti Mandhana's mom, Smita Mandhana, who reshared the meme on her profile. Netizens have noticed the same and started talking about it instantly, while adding that what she did was kind of 'savage'.
For the unversed, it was only a few weeks ago when Smriti Mandhana's friend, Vidnyan Mane, while talking to the Hindustan Times, claimed that Palaash was caught red-handed with another woman. Vidnaye said that Palaash was found in a questionable position during the pre-wedding soiree with Smriti. As per Smriti's friend, Palaash was beaten by Indian female cricketers, and it was a horrific scene. Soon after such claims, Palaash took to his social media and slammed Vidnaye while warning him that he would go the legal route for such unverified claims. Not only of cheating, but Palaash was also accused of committing a cheating which was worth Rs. 40 lakh.
Recently, Nandish Sandhu talked to Miss Malini, wherein he stated that Palaash and Smriti were madly in love for 5-6 years. Nandish was present during the cancelled wedding of the duo. Talking about Palaash and Smriti's relationship, it reportedly began in 2019, through the duo's mutual friends, and their shared interest in sports and music connected them.
The couple made their relationship official in 2024, and since then, they have shared several glimpses with each other. Palaash even got himself inked with Smriti's initials. And in November 2025, just before their pre-wedding soiree began, Palaash took Smriti to her favourite cricket ground to propose marriage to her.
Initially, several screenshots were shared on social media that featured Smriti's ex, Palaash's flirty chats with a woman named Mary D'Costa. Following this, another woman, the choreographer of Smriti and Palaash's wedding, was attached to the entire cheating case. However, later, she came forward and revealed that she was not the one who was involved. However, Smriti took to her social media handle and shared that she's a private person who wouldn't share details about her personal life. She revealed that she had decided to call off her wedding without revealing any details.
