Looks like the MomTok drama is far from over. Amid months of controversy surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast has witnessed multiple fractured friendships behind the scenes. Things took an even more dramatic turn after Taylor publicly slammed former friend Whitney Leavitt over an Instagram unfollow earlier this week.

The comment seems to have sparked a wave of unfollows on her social media, with several of Taylor's MomTok co-stars now cutting ties with her. Taylor herself has responded to the mass unfollowing drama.

Why the Mormon wives mass unfollowed Taylor Frankie Paul

Fans recently noticed that multiple cast members, including Miranda Hope and Layla Taylor, had unfollowed Taylor on Instagram. While the social media move initially sparked speculation, both women later addressed the situation in the comments section of a popular SLOMW fan page.

Layla clarified that Taylor had unfollowed her first during a recent trip to Moab, explaining that she had continued following Taylor for quite some time before eventually deciding to return the unfollow. "I'm called a follower every day," she wrote, noting that she simply matched Taylor's decision.

Miranda echoed a similar sentiment, saying she never understood why Taylor had unfollowed her in the first place but eventually felt there was no point continuing what she described as a "one-sided" connection. "I don't really know why I was ever unfollowed... I kept following until I decided it didn't make sense to keep investing in something one-sided," she commented.

The social media fallout comes shortly after Taylor publicly reacted to Whitney Leavitt unfollowing her. In a lengthy Instagram comment, Taylor accused Whitney of abandoning her despite previously defending her return to the Hulu series.

"Good," Taylor wrote. "The show I gave her grace against a whole cast multiple times. She is very successful, and I always supported that. Just for her smile and pile on at my lowest... she could have everything and still chose not to reach a hand. Bye, Whit, cya mid-season when you come back."

The new developments come after numerous public fallouts within the MomTok circle, with several friendships unraveling in recent months. Shortly after the comment, Taylor posted an Instagram Story taking a jab at the situation, seemingly unbothered by the hate. The MomTok star wrote:

"Can you imagine a whole group [of] men and women plotting or piling against you, giving it their best shot and still couldn't take you out ... I'm flattered at this point and took note of it all."

Is Taylor leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives amid mounting legal troubles?

The apparent cast divide also comes as Taylor remains embroiled in a pile of controversy and ongoing legal issues involving former partner Dakota Mortensen. Things escalated earlier this year when the pair became involved in multiple legal disputes stemming from their contentious split and custody battle over their son.

The controversy intensified after previously recorded footage from a domestic dispute resurfaced online, placing Taylor's personal life under renewed public scrutiny. With the reality TV star's ex-husband Tate and Dakota raising concerns about her suitability to keep her children with her, the court recently granted a temporary restraining order against Dakota's friend, Cru Eaton, after alleging he shared a private video of her online.

Earlier this year, ABC had to pull Taylor's season of The Bachelorette just days before its premiere amid the domestic abuse allegations. As the storm refuses to settle in her personal and professional life, some reports suggest Taylor may not have a significant presence in the upcoming season of SLMOW

While Hulu has not officially commented on her future, the recent wave of unfollows has fueled speculation that her relationships with much of the MomTok cast have deteriorated beyond repair.
