A birthday trip turned out to be a parent's worst nightmare after 26-year-old Ketan was allegedly pushed into a gorge at Lohagad Fort near Lonavala. Soon after, police took Siya and Chetan into custody, where she pleaded guilty to the crime. During her interrogation, Siya has been weaving stories.
During questioning, Siya told the police that she didn’t want to marry Ketan and told him so. But as per her, Ketan started to threaten her, stating that it was too late to call off the wedding. But the Lonavala police have now recovered chats from Siya’s phone and are convinced that she is lying about being forced into the marriage.
As per the investigators, Siya’s chats appeared to contradict her statements. According to officials, Siya started making up stories to create confusion, but the chats clearly pointed to a completely different story. A police officer said that Siya and Ketan’s conversations indicated they were interacting like any other couple and that they shared affectionate exchanges. As per the official, ‘On the basis of the chats recovered from the phones, her claims are not convincing.’
As the interrogation continued, Siya Goyal made some shocking claims. Siya, who is accused of murdering her fiancé, Ketan, revealed that she was threatened by him when she refused to marry him. She told the police officers that she had previously refused to marry Ketan Agarwal, but he was unwilling to break off the engagement. Claiming that he threatened her, Siya said:
“Now this marriage will not break under any circumstances. My family is very rich and influential. Even if you run away, we will find you."
Ketan Agarwal’s case became even more disturbing when investigators claimed there had been previous attempts on Ketan's life. According to police, an earlier incident occurred on June 14, 2026, at the same fort, when Siya allegedly pushed Ketan toward the edge. He reportedly managed to save himself by grabbing onto nearby vegetation. Investigators allege she then created a distraction by claiming she had spotted a snake.
Siya and Ketan were all set to go to Bali for a pre-wedding shoot, but it never happened. It was reported that Ketan lost his passport, which was revealed to be Siya's plan, who intentionally hid it so they could skip their trip. According to multiple reports, Siya's uncle and aunt forced her to get married despite knowing about her affair with Chetan.
In a recent interview with ANI, Sunil Gaikwad, the man who pulled Ketan Agarwal’s body from the gorge, revealed that Siya Goyal showed absolutely no remorse when Ketan was being pulled. According to Sunil, everyone at that spot panicked while Siya remained calm. Earlier, a security guard revealed that Siya screamed and said that someone had fallen down after Ketan was allegedly pushed into the gorge.
