Initially, Ketan’s murder was treated as an accident, and a case of accidental death was registered. Later, due to his family’s insistence, a fresh probe began. Amid the ongoing investigation, Siya and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary’s unseen date video surfaced online. It is worth noting that besides Siya, Chetan was also involved in the crime.
Recently, a purported video showing Siya Goyal and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, has gone viral on social media. In the now-viral video, Siya and Chetan were seen enjoying an IPL match of the Mumbai Indians. The pair twinned in matching MI jerseys, and Siya was seen resting her head on Chetan’s shoulder. According to police’s investigation, Siya’s family came to know about her love affair with Chetan after they were allegedly spotted together during a cricket match.
Recently, police have unveiled a deeper personal link between Siya and Chetan. According to police sources, 22-year-old Chetan was known to Siya’s elder brother, Sahil Goyal. Chetan and Sahil connected over cricket. The cops reportedly said that Chetan, who is a cricketer, had played many matches alongside Sahil. Siya reportedly accompanied her brother during tournaments. Investigators believe that during one of these tournaments, Siya and her alleged lover, Chetan, met and reconnected later.
A few days back, Siya Goyal’s father, Pravin Goyal, spoke to reporters. While speaking to them, Pravin shared that they did not have any prior knowledge about his daughter, Siya’s love affairs. He described Siya as 'a simple girl.' He denied knowing Siya’s alleged lover, Chetan. Pravin mentioned that neither did he see Chetan’s face nor have spoke to him. He added that Chetan had never visited their house. Pravin stated that their daughter never expressed any displeasure about Ketan and only spoke about him after their engagement in February 2026. In his words:
"We did not have any prior knowledge about Siya's love affairs. Siya was a simple girl. She is 19 years old. Would a 19-year-old girl do such a thing? I don't know anything about him. Where did Chetan come from? I've never seen his face, nor have I ever spoken to him in my life. He has never been to our house. Siya never expressed any displeasure about this marriage. We did not know anything about Chetan. Ever since the engagement, she only spoke to Ketan. I don't believe that she agreed to commit the crime."
Recently, Ketan’s father, Vishal, revealed that his son faced hair loss due to medical reasons. He also mentioned that Siya and her family knew about Ketan’s baldness before their engagement in February 2026. On June 26, 2026, Siya allegedly revealed the real reason behind killing her fiance, Ketan Agarwal. A report by The Wall stated that Siya told police that Ketan’s baldness really bothered her. She also told them that he used a wig and had a stammering issue.
Siya shared that her family knew about Ketan’s baldness, but they didn’t think it was a big issue. However, she never really liked Ketan. When investigators asked 20-year-old Siya why she didn’t refuse the marriage proposal instead of killing Ketan, she reportedly said that she didn’t want to hurt her family and that, for her, the easiest solution to the problem was killing Ketan.
