Shaheer Sheikh and his wife, Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh are rumoured to be expecting their first child. The gorgeousness wished her 'nanad' on her birthday with a rare picture!
It was on November 2020, when Shaheer Sheikh had broken million hearts by tying the knot with ‘the girl with curls’, Ruchikaa Kapoor. Since May 2021, the two are rumoured to be expecting their first baby together. The reports of their pregnancy have delighted their fans, however, the couple has neither confirmed nor denied them. While we are eagerly waiting for them to announce the news of their growing family, we are in awe of how Ruchikaa is bonding with Shaheer’s family.
In June 2021, to mark Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh's first birthday post-wedding, her sister-in-law, Dr Ifrah Dil Nawaz had posted a special wish for her bhabhi. Sharing a picture with Ruchikaa, Ifrah had written, "Happy birthday bhabhi. You beautiful soul. We love you so much and can't wait to click more selfies with you @ruchikaakapoor" atop it. Ifrah had also shared a picture of Ruchikaa with her mother-in-law and had added 'Sending lots of love to you on your birthday' sticker on it.

Now, as it is Ifrah Dil Nawaz’s birthday, her bhabhi, Ruchikaa also penned a wish for her. She shared a picture with Ifrah, where Ruchikaa can be seen holding her from the shoulder as the bhabhi-nanad posed for the camera smilingly. She wrote, “Happpyyyy birthday to the kindest, happiest soul I know! Happiness to you always my love I misssss you so muchhh Can’t wait to seeeee you and my dolls! Love love love you @Dr_Ifrah” atop it. She also added “Birthday girl” and “Bday girl” crown GIF atop it.
Coming back to Ruchikaa Kapoor’s pregnancy reports, while the couple has not yet confirmed the rumours but they have been dropping subtle hints here and there. On July 18, 2021, Ruchikaa shared a Boomerang on her IG handle, wearing a white kurta and lying on a couch. As she posed for the camera, one can catch a glimpse of her baby bump as she held her hand over it. She wrote, “Sundaying in my fave” atop it.

According to the reports, Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh are trying to keep their pregnancy away from the limelight just like they had hidden their relationship. However, Shaheer’s interviews and Ruchikaa’s spotting with her friends for parties, trying to cover her baby bump has been kind of validating the reports. While Shaheer had shared that it’s too early to comment on anything, Ruchikaa has been covering her bump smartly.
On June 25, 2021, Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh had shared a Reel on her IG handle. She had recorded herself, while walking at the terrace, flaunting her floral dress. However, it was the sneak peek of her baby bump that had caught our attention. In a few angles, her baby bump was clearly visible, and all we could wonder was when the couple will actually announce their pregnancy even after so many hints. She had captioned the video as “Happiness is a Butterfly- Lana Del Ray.”
On June 27, 2021, Shaheer had taken to his Instagram handle to share a beautiful family picture. In the picture, Shaheer was posing with his wifey, Ruchikaa, her parents, her siblings and their pets.
