Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar, got married to the love of his life, Saaniya Chandok, on March 5, 2026. Saaniya and Arjun exchanged rings last year, and it was in March 2026, when the couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony, marked by who's who of Bollywood and the cricket world.
The couple twinned in matching outfits as they got married to each other, thereby hopping onto the forever journey. The glimpses from the wedding spoke volumes about the blast that the Tendulkars had, and now some more photos, from Sara's gallery, are out. The glimpses Sara dropped from Arjun's pre-wedding soiree, are rare and, indeed, emotional as the family welcomed the new member.
Taking to her IG handle a while ago, Sara Tendulkar dropped several photos from Arjun Tendulkar's mehendi. Sara donned a multi-toned lehenga with mirror-work all over. She looked simply gorgeous as she posed for some classy snaps. In one of the glimpses, Sara was seen hugging her sister-in-law, Saaniya Chandok. In another glimpse, Sachin Tendulkar was seen giving an emotional speech that left Anjali in tears.
It was Sara, whose emotional speech was simply heart-touching. In the video, Sara said that Saaniya is the sister that she always wanted but never had. Sara called Saaniya 'more like a sister' while adding that she cannot welcome her to the family in a brand new way, as Saaniya has always been a part of the family for years now, and all her family members shower Arjun's wife with love and affection. She also added that her brother is her entire heart, and thus she would want her sister-in-law to take care of her brother and love him, and he will do the same.
Saaniya and Arjun's engagement buzz was confirmed by Sachin Tendulkar during an AMA session back in 2025. Well, it was in March 2026 that the couple tied the knot. Saaniya, who is 26 years old, met 25-year-old Arjun through a family connection. As per a report by the Hindustan Times, Saaniya met Arjun through her grandfather, Ravi Ghai, the chairman of Graviss Group, who has a longstanding history with Sachin Tendulkar's family.
Reportedly, Saaniya and Arjun became friends with each other through Sara Tendulkar. Sara and Saaniya were close friends with each other. It was over the years that the couple's friendship formed, solidified, and eventually became romantic.
For the unversed, Arjun Tendulkar began his cricketing journey with the Mumbai junior team and made his U-19 India debut. He made his T-20 debut for Mumbai, debuted in the Ranji Trophy in 2022, and played for MI in the IPL in 2023. This year, Arjun will play for LSG. Speaking about Saaniya, after completing her education at the London School of Economics, she came to India and started her business, Mr Paws, a luxury pet spa.
