Sara Ali Khan recently shared unseen photos from her first movie, 'Kedarnath', and remembered her late co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput.
Among all the new-generation Bollywood actresses, Sara Ali Khan's debut in Kedarnath has been one of the most memorable. The chemistry between Sushant Singh Rajput and her, the serene beauty of the holy place, the soothing music score, and the love story make Kedarnath a special film. As the film completed 7 years, Sara took to her Instagram and shared a heartfelt note remembering her first co-star and the late actor, Sushant.
Sara Ali Khan took to her Instagram account and shared never-before-seen snaps from 2017, while filming for her first movie, Kedarnath. From tickets of the film to newspaper clippings and more, Sara showed how she still cherishes the memories from her first film. Additionally, in the carousel post, Sara shared a lot of behind-the-scenes photos with Sushant Singh Rajput, her first co-star. The first photo of the carousel was a candid snap with Sushant, taken on a hill, surrounded by lush greenery.
Sara also penned down a long note expressing how special the experience of working on her first movie was. She especially remembered her first co-star, Sushant, who has since passed away. Sara gave the late actor credit for her love for black coffee, trekking, moon gazing, and pahadi khana. She also thanked Sushant for reminding her to be curious always and to try to learn new things. Sara wrote:
"My introduction to black coffee, the genesis of my love for trekking, the start of my moon obsession, true desire for the camera, gratitude to my audience and the realisation of my fondness for pahadi khana. Thank you Sushant for introducing me to all of this. But mostly thank you for reminding me to always be curious and always try and learn."
Fans have still not recovered from the shocking death of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14, 2020. As Sara remembered the late actor through her Instagram post, the comment section was filled with many 'miss you' notes. One Insta user wrote, "Through his films, Sushant Singh Rajput still feels present in my heart and mind." Another penned, "It’s already been more than 5 years this guy in the pic left us .. miss you Sushant." A third user wrote, "Maybe you still miss Sushant Singh." A fourth netizen penned, "He Deserved A Lot but Life has Some Other Plans."
Kedarnath was released on December 7, 2018, and starred Sushant and Sara as the main leads. The film also generated a lot of hype for being the latter's debut. The romantic drama films depict the love story between 'Mukku' and 'Mansoor', who must fight social stigma surrounding their relationship and brave a natural disaster. The film was directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies.
