As Salma Khan turned a year older, she celebrated her birthday with a massive birthday bash with close friends and family.
Superstar, Salman Khan’s mother, Salma Khan turned 80 on December 7, 2022. And to ring in her special day, she celebrated it by throwing a lavish party, and invited some of her close friends and extended family members. Needless to say, the evening turned out to be a warm celebration full of love.
Among her children and friends, the event was also graced by the ace singer, Harshdeep Kaur, who sang some of her beautiful melodies in honour of the birthday girl. Taking to her social media handle, Harshdeep gave us a peek into the celebrations, that took place in a cosy outdoor setting. Sharing the priceless pictures, Harshdeep penned a heartfelt note, which can be read as:
“It felt so special performing for the lovely Salma Khan Ji on her 80th Birthday Celebrations!
The sweetest @arpitakhansharma & Alvira being amazing hosts made me feel like a part of the family. Also meeting Helen ji and making her dance on her legendary songs was the cherry on the cake. Thankful for all the love and warmth.”

The one thing most common to any Bollywood party, is the choice of outfits donned by the hosts as well as guests. And for Salma’s birthday bash, it seems everyone decided to twin in black. For instance, Harshdeep herself dressed up in a black-hued embroidered gown, and wore a black safa with a stunning brooch on her head.
Up next, we could spot a glimpse of the Khan children, Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Atul Agnihotri. While Arpita looked stunning in a powder-black gown paired with a white floral cape, her sister Alvira looked gorgeous in a turtle-neck shimmery black gown. Both of them donned minimal makeup and essayed the role of perfect hosts for their mother’s birthday bash.

Up next, we also caught a glimpse of the birthday girl, who simply looked like as if ageing like fine wine. Salma looked beautiful in a black salwar-suit, which featured gold motifs all over. She wore statement diamond earrings, and minimal makeup to complete her look.
A notable member of the guest list was the veteran actress and Salim Khan’s second wife, Helen. Looking gorgeous as ever in a black maxi-dress with golden borders, Helen warmed up the evening for Salma by performing a small dance to the tunes of Harshdeep’s soulful music. Later, she also posed for the camera lens, along with Harshdeep and her husband, Mankeet Singh.
