Saif & Kareena Have Released The Official Statement On Their Baby's Birth

The wait is finally over! One of the much-awaited star kids of the year 2016 has finally arrived. We are talking about KHANdaan ka chiraag, Saifeena’s (as their fans fondly call them) baby.

Yes, social media has gone crazy within a few seconds after the news broke that Saif and Kareena have been blessed with a baby boy.

And not just the news of baby coming into this world, but his name Taimur Ali Khan also started doing the rounds within in a jiffy. Actually, Karan Johar in his congratulatory message on Twitter wrote a hashtag of the name #TaimurAliKhan. And this is what clicked people that the name is Taimur Ali Khan. Here’s what Karan Johar tweeted:

Though no official statement was released till then. But now we have for you the official statement by the newbie mommy Kareena and daddy Saif. Here it is:

“We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son : Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well-wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all...With love, Saif & Kareena.”

Not just this, Kareena Kapoor’s father Randhir Kapoor is also elated with his grandson’s arrival. Here’s what the nanu has to say:

"We are extremely excited and very happy for my daughter and my grandson and I want to thank all the well-wishers who have prayed and wished äll their very best to Kareena and Saif."

Gorgeous Kareena Kapoor tied the knot with heartthrob Saif Ali Khan on October 16, 2012, and Taimur is their first baby together. Apparently, the sabse chota Nawab was born on December 20, 2016 early morning at 7:30 a.m. Moreover, as per the recent reports, both the Taimur and the begum Kareena are fine.

In fact, when Randhir ji was asked about the health of mommy and baby, pat comes the reply:

"They are doing very well."
