Hina is on top of her acting career and yet she makes sure to spend time with her boyfriend, Rocky. In an interview, Rocky had shared how he first met 'the love of his life' and had said, "We met on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for the first time. What attracted me to her was her dedication to her work. I have seen a lot of actors, but she is one of the smartest of the lot." On the other hand, Hina kept her just friends stance and had said, "We are best friends". They took their own sweet time to make their relationship official, and it was in the year 2016 when they talked about their love. In Bigg Boss 11, Rocky had proposed Hina on national television. In an interview, Hina had talked about the same and had said, "It was a sweet surprise for me as well. I wasn't prepared for it and neither was it planned. It just happened. I usually don't talk about my personal life but over there, you become so overwhelmed. The moment I saw him I could not control myself, it was not a proposal, we were in love before as well but the way he said it, I could not hold back and said it back, I love you too. It was sweet. I will always remember and cherish that moment."
On the other hand, Rocky had stated, "It was obviously a burst of emotions and also the result of staying away from each other for so long. We have been having coffee together every evening, and you can understand how difficult it must be to stay apart like this. All these times we never spoke about our relationship as we thought it wasn't the right time. The fact that Hina is dating a non-celeb would have resulted in a lot of speculations and we didn't want that. Our bond is very real and we wanted to keep it that way.
